Hong Kong ---Part2

I think my HK story ni dah macam basi tahap cipan...but as promised i still have my part 2.

So second day, after the Disneyland day, after breakfast and all...we went to Avenue of Stars which is located along Victoria Harbour waterfront in Tsim Tsa Tsui

Our visit here is more like "mencecah" than anything else, weather was extremely hot eventhough it was still early morning..and the promenade is quite a walk..bukan pendek...This place is a tribute to the filming industry for HK...so there are statues , "walk of stars" plaques and other replicas which associated with the film industry. We managed to witness 1-2 plaques and that's it...belah terus...entah tak kenal lah actor mana...I told you this is just "mencecah" and Afi had caught a fever---so laju laju jer jalan!

Anyway panorama of the harbour is great...perhaps if weather is not that hot and we are still in that "paktoh" period boleh lah having that snuggling session :)
And time is another matter, kalau seminggu maybe boleh lah leisurely walk along the promenade cari plaque Bruce Lee ke Jet Li ke.....kalau tak... boleh skip ajer this place and move forward to shopping wahahahahaha....

After Victoria Harbour, we went to HK city for the Time Squares mall...shop till you drop punya session....There was end of season sale so gembira lah...a few brands are actually cheaper than msia...and later that evening meeting friends from Grace HK...their office is just 2-3 blocks away from the mall....

On a separate note, we travelled by taxi, because there are 5 of us..so ngam ngam soi...and besides nak menapak kat MTR station tu dgn budak kecik and ibu mengandung cam tak sesuai ajer....but their taxis are ok metred...so tak lah rasa kena chong!

as for food...we had indian and middle east all along...i had a doner kebab....a taste of UK...suka sgt!

By the way, kat mana kat Msia ni boleh dapat kebab cam UK huh? kat Kuantan sumpah tak de? Bro Fend tolong jawapssssss...kau kan ala ala "jalan2 cari makan" :)

Next day, we had our afternoon flight back to Msia at abt 5pm and we killed the time before airport at CityGate Outlet Mall. This place has most of the brands and cheap. They mainly selling old stocks or last 2 seasons items (aku agaklah from my own shopaholic's observation) --- but who cares!!!! It's your money, your body, your style....but still i cant find any maternity outlets...sakit hati aku....discrimination betul!!! I was looking for maternity pants semua seluar lama dah sedekah kat orang and seasoned --apa barang nak pakai kan..whahahahaha...tapi dapat lah satu....baju, i bought yg jenis boleh pakai sebelum and selepas pregnancy...tak lah guilty sgt he..e..he...

And phewwwwwwwwww... that wraps our vacation in HK.....Adib cakap...Adib suka Hong Kong ni cuma tak best Mc Donald's tak halal.....as for me, a 30 something woman....being with the family, away from the norm...leisure sana sini...memang sedap lagi menyedapi!

Hong Kong --- Part 1

Sorry guys ....takes me ages to update on Hong Kong..the truth is too many to tell with too little time chewahhh konon ...and another reason bahana ada 2 blogs, so nak tulis sini ke sana???...nak tulis dua dua maleh lah puloks..so ended up undecided.....

Main intention about Hong Kong is to bring the boys to Disneyland...and that was our first destination....have some pictures posted here: http://afi-thethreebrothers.blogspot.com/2010/08/disneyland-hong-kong.html





The boys were thrilled with Disneyland--- and as for me, I am happier seeing them enjoying themselves....they had sparkles in their eyes, and that's priceless....


My verdict on disneyland for being 30 something...some of the rides, i would agree with Duan they are about the same with what we have elsewhere, in Genting as an example...still i took the opportunity to become crazy...that're the hands of 30sth pregnant lady in the spirit to watch over the boys..wahahhahaha--but no doubt the ambience --the setting up of the place is awesome......If you think about bringing your little ones there, just make sure that they are old enough to understand and enjoy the place, kalau tak entrance fee pun mahal jugak...some kids i saw just slept inside their stroller---i dont know about others but for me, Disney is meant for kids...and teenagers kot...kalau dah terlentok dlm stroller apa kehe nya mak ayah nak menapak naik Tarzan treehouse bagai tu...kalau budak2 boleh lah terkinja kinja....

However, i definitely enjoyed all the shows....the musical theatres...the best for me is the Lion King Festival.


...we used to memorise all the songs from Lion King and it did bring me back to our early years of marriage..when we only had Along at that apartment in Jalan Ipoh...

another one last thing ...a must see, is the Parade...

LAter in the evening, we went to Harbour City.....we had a serious shopping--sort of lah that i have totally forgotten to snap any picture....but i can tell you, Harbour City is one hell of a shopping centre.......you have everything at the whole stretch of the road, and the view at nite with lights and all was splendid.....

On Transit from HK to Bandung

Hi guys...i am so damned tired tahap cipan mega segala bagai.....on transit ni , touched down at LCCT last nite at about 11pm....terus shot off to Kuantan and reached here 2am this morning.......Citroen aku dah jadi cam Ferrari....:)

Today after Duan's meeting with the bank here in Kuantan, we'll move down again to KL..esok flight 9am to Bandung.....fendi kata aku dgn Duan, Bionic people...wahahaha....alang alang bercuti namanya...and special thanks to my in laws who will be coming over to watch the boys....

Was in Hong Kong for the past 4 days....macam macam incidents ada....we arrived in HK petang and straight to the West Hotel....sekali kaedah nya, our booking did not go thru even though we have the confirmation no and all...booking was done thru Air Asia....Duit semua dah bayar but technial flaws, it was not gone thru.....redha je lah...Luckily, the hotel personnel was nice enough to get a place a for us...bayar je lah..last minute booking what do you expect kan kalau tak more $$$$$$...sib baik lah ada hotel kosong kat Kowloon tu , kalau tak mahu kena pergi Mandarin Hotel.....kah..kah..kah...

*****i hardly have any pictures of HK lah actually nya, and i just realised i dont take any pictures time bershopping punya lah concentrate ~~~ni gambar fire station--i used to hook on this one series pasal abang2 bomba kat HK 6 years ago masa 2 months confinement for Adib~~jadi aku tangkap gambar ni kah..kah..kah...tak pasal2 kan?????

Ok back to my first scene in HK----At first, the lady cakap "I 'll try to get you, WIGOR hotel" ~~~it did sound like that....I was like "Dut hotel cap ayam mana ni ?--tak pernah pulak came across"...Duan kata asal ada tempat tidur ok lah....gitu...Tak puas hati tu aku sebut tiga empat kali --mmg sumpah tak pernah dengar ni---last last aku cakap kat receptionist yg begitu nya baik hati tu, suh tunjuk ejaan nya...kaedahnya "Regal"...haiyo sedap sikit telinga aku ....adalah bunyi macam hotel...kalau dah Wigor...dgn keadaan Jordan area tu mmg seram lagi meyerami kahh...kah..kah....

West Hotel was at Jordan Station macam centre jugak utk area Kowloon...tapi mmg scary lah..banyak sgt tengok cite HK/Cina...aku seram jugak and keadaan nya sangat sebok........Aimran kata ni macam Petaling Street ...aku tanya dia mana kau tahu ni? Kite tak pernah pergi pun...Angah kata kawan dia cite ...

So then took a taxi to Regal Oriental Hotel......blessing in disguise lah...hotel ni much better rasanya dari West Hotel tu....I didnt check the room at West Hotel tapi based on luaran nya lah...

Habis lah our Day 1 Scene 1.................alhamdulillah dapat hotel............kalau berdua tu tak risau sgt kot tapi with kids...kat negeri orang lagi....emmmm risau lah jugak....

~~~~as i mentioned earlier, mg aku tak de gambar Kowloon city or even HK city...ni gambar while in the cab, commutting from one place to another~~~~

In short, from my point of view, HK looks very much like an older version of Singapore...sky scrapers...flats...are everywhere....but the people are much more friendlier I think :)))...
