Moments at Taman Gelora, Kuantan

Aloha...few days mcm trauma ingat dah nak kojol blog ni sebab we were not able to log in and do any postg..ceh macam lah kita rajin sgt kan...but hei this blog captures our happiness n despair n our friendship so of course trauma kejap...and tq to our IT guy..tak sia sia ko belajor sampai ke kent..akak dok ulang tu aje ha..ha..bagi pressure sikit so cepat lah dia buat dr dok play...opps tak leh ckp he..he...

Actuallynya last weekend tu yg sebok sgt pasal blog hang ni sebab i wanted to make a postg pasal "Taman Gelora".. another beachside here in Kuantan.

Ok kita setahun payah sekali ke pantai ..i know...kalau tak bersebab mmg tak pergi lah..i know i know...and last weekend duan had a mini reunion with his ex school mates, so we were all there menyemak kan diri.
Well d truth is we had bfast there then d boys n i , we left for ecm and later fetched duan when he's done. Aci ke tak? Boleh lah...but we managed to enjoy d scenery..d open air...d breeze...d cooling weather of kuantan... p.s.coolg weather tu is so over- now panas berdentum. Sapa yg berangan nak beli turtle neck tu pelezzzzz.... malam sikit.

my 2 sagi boys..i actually have 2 librans n 2 sagitarians...librans are peace maker -you can reason with them..sagi adoii..most of d time they learn from reallife experience ..kena cite bersungguh2.. but at d end of d day it is all about respect...yg tua di hormati yg kecil disayangi..ni kata kata pujangga dr mr hubby...alhamdulillah they fight but they also keep each other butts.

All white for d beach..color or no color for d day..ha..ha..sukahati aku lah ek..

i am now writing at my #slakeandbite ..lenggang adoii...more promosi needed...our food is yummylicious but crowd in d mall during week days is depressing. Eh bileh ke hashtag macam tu ha..ha..memandai kan

.Afi tuition kat bandar...Aimran tuition dekat dgn rumah...so sent Aimran then Afi..and now here w Adib...Adib is so pelajar contoh alaf ini..betul tak miss gina??

..siap bawak homework...dia tak nak ikut sebab hwork byk but i suggested him to do it here kalau tak mati kering nga nga mummy ...ini blh lah layan mulut dia sambil dia menulis tu..

Ok itu aje nanti kite cite lagi...muah muah..can cin chow...ada 45 min lagi...another postg...maybe..maybe not..perhaps...perhaps not

Bercuti ke Gambang dan Cherating - Holiday Villa

Sempena cuti sekolah, fenfid, zamreen dan nuarlin sibuk planning for a short trip. Macam macam usul dan survey yang dilakukan...akhirnya kami memilih untuk bercuti ke Gambang dan Cherating. Kalau ikutkan nak duduk kat Cherating aje 2 malam tapi takde hotel yang available for 2 days. Semua fully booked sebab cuti sekolahkan. On Friday sempena cuti wesak, Zamreen balik kampung ke Jengka. Nuarlin balik ke Kampung kuin. On Saturday kami bertolak dari destinasi memasing dan bertemu di Gambang.

Apartment ysang kami duduk tu namanya Carebean Bay. Kalau yang baru tu namanya Arabian Bay. Poolnya not bad tapi ramai sangat orang.

Malam pulak the kids had fun kat mini fun fair. Beli tag RM20 sorang main la sampai muntah. Semua rides pusing pusing boleh pening di buatnya. Diorang main sampai tengah malam.

Ada Safari Night kalau sesapa yang berminat nak tengok binatang tapi belum siap sepenuhnya.

Zahra had a good time naik rides sampai dia tertidur kat carousel tu. Lepas dia tidur kami naik ke apartment tapi the EJ and frens continue main lagi.

The next day lepas checked out singgah kat SGG jumpa LizDuan.

Semua kekenyangan kononnya tapi lepas rasa burger sedap order sorang satu.

Kenyang makan nasi lemak tapi sebab burger sedap...layannnn.

Teringat ingat kesedapan burger ni dan air teh yang marvellous tu. Ita dengan Ejin biler nak merasa burger bakar sedap ni?

Tu dia...bersemangat.

Drinks macam macam ada...jangan lupa try segala yang berkenan di hati. Lepak almost 3 hours kat cafe Slake & Bite ni...pastu kami bergerak ke Cherating. Masa kat SGG ni aku dah call Holiday Villa inform kami check in lewat sikit.

Sempat berendam dalam air laut kejap. Zahra suka bangat dapat lepak dalam air laut.

Sambung berendam dalam pool pulak. Pool kat sini jauh lagi best banding dengan Gambang Resort. Bersih and puas mandi manda.

Fenfid dapat room betul betul tepi kolam ni.

Selepas checked out, Nuarlin dan Zamreen berphoto session. Testing toy baru Nuarlin. Gambar untuk posting ni semua cilok dari toy Nuarlin.Rasa tak puas pulak bercuti 2 hari aje. Penat sangat rasanya. Kalau boleh rasa macam nak bercuti 4 hari ke...seminggu ke...baru puas kot. Yang penting everyone had a great time.

Slake at Megamall Kuantan

Hi guys...mesti nak share ni... we had soft launching of

at Megamall last saturday (June 1st). The kiosk is still work in progress but we just cant wait..rental starts on June 1st ..jadi nak tak nak kena lah jugak huuuu...Quite mad with the contractor...we have the drawing...concept design and all that tapi the pictures that we want to stick on the counter and so on...is totally different...entah rabun ke hapa...sabar jelah...

The fixing of the kiosk was quite fast only takes 2 nites...but it is incomplete because the pictures, signage are not ready...

Despite of all that cabaran...we are happy to have another footprint  in Kuantan. Unlike the one in ECM which we call

 -- because we serve food....here in Megamall is only Slake for the drinks...

Here is the team...we are re-designing the company uniform..We had plain white and green before tapi now .thinking of something fresh and zest! ala ala lemon ha..ha..ha..

 So watch this space for update.

Celebrate Birthday Fid kat Slake & Bite SGG - East Coast Mall Kuantan

Surprised Birthday Burger for Fid. Da'bomb.

 Last weekend, Fenfid bersama Nuarlin dan Zamreen with family masing masing beronggeng kat Gambang dan Cherating. Selepas check out dari Gambang sebelum check in kat Cherating kami segerombolan rombongan cik Kiah buat lawatan sambil makan minum kat Slake and Bite SGG East Coast Mall. Selain nak bagi moral support kat Liz dan Duan, teringin sangat nak tengok cafe SGG ni. So happen pulak date kedatangan kami fall on Fid punya Birthday.

Liz and Duan made a surprise Birthday Burger for Fid. Terkejut and of course la happy Bangatkan. Fid memang tak expected pun sebab dia tahu takde cake kat SGG. Tak sangka lak Liz and Duan akan letak candle kat burger. Simple but cool. Cayokkkk.

Aku macam tokey kedai posng kat sini kan. Teringin nak masuk dalam nanti over la pulak. Luar aje la. Kah kah kah.

Tasha happy terlebih lak. Dia macam biasa la posing sepesen dia tu. Gambar food ni menarik...kena letak kat dinding tepi meja makan lak...kasi tarikan to customer.

Sembang sembang mengumpat Ita dan Ejin. LOL.

Sampai 2 burger di perlukan sebab nak tulis 40th Happy Birthday. LOL.

Rombongan cik kiah. Konon dah kengang makan nasi lemak. Sekali tengok burger terus semua kelaparan. LOL. Sedap bangat burger tu.

Potato Wedges ni sedap sangat. Mula order 1...pastu tambah sampai 5. Kalau lama lagi lepak kat SGG...mesti order sampai 10. Yang bagusnya cheese saucenya mantap dan banyak.

Liz Duan's New Venture -Stop Grab Go

After so much thought.. anxiety ...hesitation..yes no yes no...we finally decided .."mutual decision"...to bought over the Stop Grab Go at East Coast Mall Kuantan. We think it is best for new comers in the industry to acquire an existing business rather than start everything from ground zero...what we have to do is to revamp the whole place and operations and make it ours!

This is the new venture that I have been hinting last 2 months and officially May 1st --mark as the first day, we took over the place and become an entrepreneur!

How do I feel? I think we share the same feelings...me and Duan...we both scared!seriously no joke...of course we always talk about going into business.. do our own things...bla bla bla ...and now with this opportunity--it is a blessing that we have the push factor but at the same time this is very alien to us...we dont have the specific experience or background...we have been makan gaji since the day we can remember...frankly we are nervous about this, feeling the challenge from day minus 1.... at the same time, there is also so much excitement in setting up this small business of ours.!

 Kudos to my models....hensem boh!

I will definitely share more of the restaurant here...the name is STOP GRAB GO (SGG)  -- we still maintain the old name --we have some strategy around it but I will share in my next posting-
The location is at East Coast Mall (ECM), Kuantan...which is right infront Zenith Hotel , and SGG is at the right of ECM building --you definitely wont miss it coming into ECM.

For your information , our actual brand name is  SLAKE & BITE -- SLAKE which is defined as quench your thirst -- is for the ice blended--and we have all sort of flavours..they are all very refreshing and can be customised according to your taste. It comes along with the "pearls" and some jellys . My favourite is Kedondong asam boi --

The BITE is for food--and our niche is the Burger Bakar --it is not like the normal burger bakar- I would say -- our aim on the taste is to match the one selling at Fendi's favourite spot ...:) It is a must try...try and come back again anad again lah ha..ha..ha. Our burger bakar is a jumbo size burger, chicken and beef...add on are fried egg, double jumbo, and beef bacon.We start selling the burger bakar last Sunday and alhamdulillah, so far we are getting tremendous good feedback.

Other food available here is Malaysia old time and everyone's favourite ... Nasi Lemak

and also Roti Arab with Sardine

More will come down on the menu list...as for now those are our servings. Whoever reads this and happen to be in Kuantan , do STOP and GRAB us...if it good tell others...if it is not please please tell us.
Fendi , Ita, Ejin...mari lah....korang are my no 1 critic...bila boleh mari?????? Jauh Ejin nak datang dari Wellington erghhhhh.....wish us luck peeps!!
