Too many chefs?

alang-alang fendi and kak long puji aku masak, aku continue the momentum buat posting perihal memasak nie ...this was years ago, my frens nie ajar cara2 buat chinese dumplings from scratch ...inti dumpling nya is chicken and the other one is lamb ...

 tak susah sangat sebenar nya ...tapi aku punya kerja is just buat dumpling ajer when all the ingredients dah disediakan ..... tu, yang kat background tu is my tangan ok ....hehehe kitorang buat division of labour ...Bruce buat dough, Chen shape kan dumpling, aku masukkan inti ....and Naz and Yammie pun buat inti jugak ..they were not in the pic sebab sibuk jadi photographers!

to cook, kena rebus dalam air panas mengelegak (i cannot remember if guna stock or not lah)

then, boleh le dimakan .....we had ours tanpa kuah ...and dicicah ngan kicap cili ...yummy ...since aku tak makan lamb, diorang buat another set yang inti chicken ...tapikan disebalik tu, kerja utama aku ialah ...

jeng jeng jeng ..potong memotong kah kah kah ...in this circle of friends, aku mmg tak pernah masak ..my duty kalau kitorang dinner ramai2 is to potong apa yang patut - bawang ke, potato ke, sayur ke ...and then wait till dinner is served ...after that aku lah yang akan cuci pinggan ...hehehe but it was fun ...kenangan silam zaman di perantauan ...

Summer time in Newcastle

Hari nie buat posting kenangan ...sebab nya tadi baru jumpa CD yang mengandungi gambar2 lama ...so, korang layan jer lah yea ...gambar kat bawah nie was taken by my fren, Naz @ exhibition park ...

Selalu nyer summer time nie aku berlagak sket (mengaku tu!)...sebab masa nie aku kerja kan, so weekdays selalu stress and terkejar2 nak balik rumah utk tengok tv (tengok Neighbours!)... biler weekend ajer aku akan lepak kat parks ...sebab kat my flat tu very stuffy ...panas tahap rimas ..so, kalau nak baca buku tu aku pi le kat parks yang berlambak2 kat sini ....tak pon sajer2 jer jalan2 kat parks ....lagipun summer, matahari terbenam lambat sket ..so selalu nyer till 7 pon aku masih lepak2 kat park ...entah masa tu takde rasa takut le plak ..sebab dah macam kampung sendiri kot (ngada punya statement!) ...

Nie adalah my fav spot for reading ...depan Hancock Museum and just across from my flat ajer ...

and another fav activity is jalan2 ronda taman ...these are my geng masa tu ....sah2 kalau aku tak carik diorang, diorang akan carik aku utk ajak jalan2 ....without fail hahaha ...

 

and this is another one of my fav spot ....selalu lepak sini for people watching ...or reading ...or meeting up with friends ..sebab this is at the edge of Northumberland Street ...senang nak jumpa kalau tunggu kat sini ...and aku rasa masa LizDuan and Fend visit aku pon, kitorang ada tangkap gambar kat monument nie hehehehe on the way to town maaa ....

 

Sayu jer aku tengok gambar2 nie ...banyak kenangan aku kat sini ...dah mcm kampung sendiri plak ...huhuhuhu biler lagi lah nak pi sini lagi ...

Barney's Cafe, Newcastle

Ini lah tempat aku melepak during my Newcastle days....tempat aku pi lunch ...as well as lepak tunggu my fren abis kerja ...and it is just a few doors away from my flat and just behind my office masa tu ...very convenient ....

Kitorang akan lepak sini tunggu my fren, Bruce - yang kerja kat sini as part time waiter cum cook - abis shift ... as usual lah, that summer, hampir tiap2 petang kitorang ada aktiviti ....but always full korum ...kalau sorang takde rasa tak lengkap ...by the way, this cafe/bistro is a small one, and tuan punya kedai pon dah kenal aku ... my fav kat sini is the tuna and cheese panini ...that hot, melted cheese ..emmm yummy ...

That summer of 2004, I baru kenal ngan these people ...when I moved to that new flat baru le aku kenal diorang semua ...and they are the among nicest people I know ...we sure had fun together ...I sure miss that moments ...they were there to cheer me up, to feed me (coz they can cook!) and they are fun to be with ...i miss them - Naz, Chen, Bruce and Yammy ....
