Weekend drive to Eastbourne, Wellington

nie dua minggu lepas punya aktiviti ...punya lah lama aku peram sebab terlalu sibuk ..tkde masa sangat nak buat posting ...bak kata abang ngah tadi ..my weekdays adalah sangat2 tak koser dia nak dengar kesibukan melampau aku ...hahahah nak buat camne ...aku kena rajin2 kan diri lah ...

anyway 2 weeks ago bangun2 saturday tu dapat text from Kak Shidah tanya whether aku free nak teman dia gi jalan2 ke Upper Hutt ...sebab aku dah cancel my party for that night atas sebab2 peribadi (sila lah muntah hahahaha) so that weekend memang aku free ..ingat nak golek2 kat rumah ajer but offer Kak Shidah was too good to miss ...they came and picked me up at 11 gitu ...and was told that there was a change of plan ..tak jadi gi Upper Hutt coz takde aktiviti yang menarik, so we will just be driving up the coast to Eastbourne ....i memang tak kisah, eastbourne pun eastbourne lah kan hehehe ...

it is actually located kat outer surburb of Welly ...ada ferry gi direct sini coz it is like a tourist places ...or popular day trip destination bagi tourist ...kalau from Welly ambik ferry untuk ke sini ...ferry punya landing point kat Eastbourne dikenali sebagai Days Bay Wharf ...kalau tak nak naik ferry ..naik bus pon boleh ...or macam kitorang, just drive up here ...scenic ride sebenarnya coz melalui coastal area ...about 30 min kalau tak jam ...katanya kalau jam can be up to sejam jugak lah ....ferry ride pun lebih kurang ajer i.e. 20-30 mins by ferry...

first stop kitorang was at the Eastbourne (or rather Days Bay wharf) ...saja stop to enjoy the view ..and weather hari itu sangat bagus ...with angin sepoi2 bahasa ajer ...but even then the water was rather choppy ....lepak kat pantai tu best jugak ...just menengok org and pemandangan ...mendamaikan ...

 di kejauhan itu adalah Welly city ...

pas melepak nie kami bertiga menapak menyusuri pantai ..heading towards the cafes etc kat the end of the beach ...sampai sana jumpa pulak this art gallery ..so masuk and look see look see ...all things are so nice but akak takde $$$ masa tu ...ingat takde duit tapi i did not know yang duit aku dah masuk akaun the day before hahaha kalau tak sure aku dah sambar one NZ green stone pendant for myself!

banyak rumah2 kat tepi2 pantai nie ..sure best giler pemandangan from rumah dorang kan ...hari2 ngadap pantai lol ...agak2 macam tu kot perasaan org kat PD yang rumah dekat pantai ...apa kata abang ngah???

from there we drove aimlessly kat area tu ...saja tengok2 rumah kat kawasan tu ...memang cantik2 lah ...jenis rumah2 besar ...tak ambik gambar ..takut owner nampak ...cuma park tepi jalan and had a look see look see ajer ...

aku paksa anita kuar ambik gambar ...hehehe sebab dia dok depan ..and aku kat seat belakang ...pas ambik gambar jalan, dia gi snap gambar2 bunga kat luar rumah org pulak ...and siap ada butterfly tu!

and pokok tamarillo ...first time nampak pokok nie ..aku biasa dengar tamarillo juice gitu ..but tak tau rupa buah and pokok nya macam mana

from this area, we drove further north to another beach .....masa dok lepak2 here lah ternampak kulit2 mussels ..and suddenly craving for mussels ...terus lah Kak Sidah and I plan nak beli mussels there and then ...but anita dok kata nak laksa Sarawak ..and guess what, Kak Shidah kata dia boleh buat that evening coz she has all the ingredients ...so, our beach trip ended there sebab nak gi beli mussels and nak masak laksa hahahaha ...food always win ok!

kat rumpai2 nie lah aku terjumpa nampak banyak cengkerang mussels ...was told that kat Eastbourne nie ada tempat orang kutip mussels sebenarnya ...but i think i rather buy lah daripada kutip sendiri ;-)

so since decided nak makan and masak semua tu, we all beredar tanpa berlengah2 lagi hahaha but before heading to Khandallah, we all stop for lunch break kat Petone ...yang tu aku cerita in another posting ...

Note: kalau melancong ke Welly in a very short duration, perhaps this could be one of the things to do ...as tourist lah ...kalau nak yang day-trip here using the ferry tu is worth considering ...boleh naik ferrr ke sini ..so will experience the ferry ride ..had a look round the beach and explore the tiny town ..and take the ferry back to Welly ...

Malaysian food di Welly & traveller buddies

Adoiiii sejuk nya hari nie ....baru balik from opis ...yea, hari nie sabtu but aku still gi opis jugak ...sebab kalau dok rumah aku garenti tido ...so aku gi opis ...and today for the first time aku sesorang kat opis tu ...since micheal dah submit thesis dia semalam ..so nak jenguk opis pun dia tak mau dah ,,,so seorang jer lah penunggu opis itu ..i.e. aku!!!! but esok takleh masuk opis ...aku biasa akan relax ajer on sunday ..lagipun tadi Ensie ada emel jemput gi makan2 sembang2 kat rumah dia petang esok ...mula2 tu aku malas nak gi coz Maryam tak gi..but Nabil kata dia pergi ngan aku, so kami janji to go together esok ....tapi letih dari kuar semalam pun tak reda lagi ...macam mana tu?

Te Papa Museum - tempat tari menari for that day ..di kejauhan tu adalah Mount Victoria ...and rumah2 kat Mount Victoria have all the lovely view of the harbour, of Oriental Bay etc ....api jauh from uni lah pulak 

posting nie sambung yang posting tarian tu ...hehehe kan panjang berjela2 kan ...ingat nak buat dua posting aritu tapi malas...so aku condensekan dalam satu posting ...layan jer lah yea ..anyway, abis that workshop and performance pun dah kol 5.30pm ...and kami pulak dok jumpa kawan2 ..and sembang2 kat situ ...and somehow decided nak go and have dinner together ...dorang nie kawan si Tia ..and Tia tu pulak kawan Maryam & Ensie ...macam nie lah aku punya friend network kat sini ...always friend of a friends punya style ....and Welly kecik, so we bound to meet each other lah ...kat sini tak heran kalau ngko kuar akan terserempak ngan orang yang ngko kenal ...

at the dance show ...muka orh2 yang dok kat front row depan stage hehehe ...

anyway, dorang nie suka sangat makanan Malaysia ...and biler tahu aku nie malaysian terus dorang kata nak gi makan mi goreng for dinner ...so we went to this cafe kat Left Bank ....bukan kawasan yang aku selalu pergi ....but apparently their fav place ...so layan ....the food prices are cheaper than the cafes yang aku selalu gi ...and guess what hehehe rasa nya pun tak sesedap tempat yang aku selalu gi tu ...tapi portion besar weiiiii ....like most dorang order mee goreng ...punya lah penuh pinggan ...Maryam & Ensie siap share makan lagi ...harga NZD10 ...yang our friends tu adventurous jugak ..sorang ordered laksa lemak hahaha ...sorang ordered canai with kari ayam ...aku ordered rendang ($10) ....

 nie lah rupa rendang nya ...rasa takde omphhh ..all i can taste is the kerisik (or rather dessicated coconut lemak) ...kira so so ajer lah ..plus combo macam tak cun ...nasi, sayur2an steam and that rendang (i choose chicken) ...tapi those guys dok rasa le my dish nie ...and boleh kata sedap ...hahaha dorang belum jumpa rendang sebenar nya!!!

sembang2 lama gak le aritu ...and by the time balik tu ari dah start renyai2 ...dorang nie kebanyakkannya jenis sedang travel round the world ...dua couples tu i mean ...macam sampai nz ie dorang kerja le 3-4 bulan (min) and kumpul duit then move on to different parts ....sebab fall in love ngan welly, nak tinggal lama sket ...but end of the year kata nya nak gi Pakistan, China, Tibet pulak ....mereka jenis takde perancangan sangat hahaha i dont think aku boleh macam tu ...i need stability jugak in some point ..nak le tahu duit tu akan confirm masuk account kan ...but i dont mind living in any parts of the world ...tapi mat salleh nie cam selamba ajer ...mamat yang paling tinggi tu asal Scotland ...and pernah tinggal di Newcastle ...so boleh le sembang ngan aku aritu ....dia kira tuan rumah yang dorang dok sekarang ...and the other couple (yang dok mencangkung tu) tu menyewa rumah dia ..or rather menyewa bilik kat rumah dia ...sempoi and friendly dorang semua nie ,,,and aku jumpa kat bengkel tarian hahaha ...

nie masing2 dah nak balik dah ..and Pablo (yang duduk tu) kata tak ambik gambar lagi ...so set kamera on timer and posing in the middle of Cuba Street ...hehehe dorang nie jenis akan ambik gambar ...unlike kawan2 aku yang lain ...lagipun dorang travellers kan ..suka ambik gambar to document perjalanan dorang ...

and like i said welly nie small ajer ...semalam masa aku kuar with the girls from school aku terjumpa ngan that scottish lady (yang sandar kat tiang tu) masa sama2 tengok show African Dance ..we even boogie together to african music semalam ..esok pulak, aku maybe jumpa Tia coz aku gi this gathering kat rumah Ensie ...small world ajer ....

Perkembangan Terkini

Aiyooo...it has been ages since the last time I wrote. Kemalasan melanda dengan kroniknya. Tak tahu la kenapa tapi bila on Laptop aje aku terus menguap. Ha ha ha. Dulu I gave reason that I dont have story to tell and no pictures to tepek. Now I have all tapi tetap tak siap posting. Malas sungguh.

Muka orang hensem yang malas layan Coconut Milk Shakes. I have discovered few places yang jual Coconut milk shakes ni tapi yang kat jalan Enggang still the best. Ada yang murah kat tempat lain tapi tak terasa sangat air kelapanya. More to ice cream and ice taste.

Aku punya malas sampai slim badan. Apakah? find the correlation between lazy and me being a slim. Zahra pulak semakin active. Penat to cope with her but she always be the stress reliever dengan keletah dia. Kalau zaman student dulu terkena penyakit malas macam sekarang ni maknanya musim result aku cukup cukup makan. I can never do phd macam Ejin sebab my momentum selalu swing up and down...camne nak habis cepat kan.

Pasangan Remaja...sesama surviving to cope dengan usia 25 tahun ni. Very challenging kan and tiring but most of the time fun. Activity utama layan makan makan dan makan. Ha ha ha.

EJ berjaya jadi pengawas. Punya la happy kan sebab dapat pakai blazer. Jenuh aku kesana sini mencari blazer. Kalau sekolah tempah kan lagi senang. This was last week layan dim sum sebelum g cari blazer dia.

Camtu la mukadimah lebih kurang betapa malas dan busynya aku. Actuallynya...Teringin sangat nak g layan kat Chillies tapi masa mencemburi kami. Chewaah...macam yang berhormat pulak dok kata sibuk nak g makan pun takde masa. Every weekend occupied dengan activities so tak sempat nak g Chillies.

Nak g layan laksa pun tak sempat. Sibuk sangat. Member yang suka makan laksa dengan aku takde sekarang ni...g melancong. So lama la lagi baru dapat layan laksa ni.

Rasa macam lama sangat tak makan nasi dagang. Fid kata nak masak nasi dagang. Tak tahu bila sebab dia pun ke bz an. Kalau dia nak masak nasi dagang kena ada ramai orang sebab kalau nak harap aku dengan Fid aje makan nanti tak habis pulak. Ej and atuk dia tak suka nasi dagang.

Yang aku dok cerita pasal makanan ni apsal pulak ek? Sebenarnya nak cerita pasal busy dan kemalasan. Sambil tu update kat korang berita terkini pasal fenfid.

Dua minggu lepas ada sesi makan makan club ronggeng kat Sentul. Gambar ada banyak tapi aku tak tepek lagi. Nanti nanti la kalau datang mood aku cerita. Last week pulak lepak kat KL aje sebab hari mengundi.

Fid first time mengundi. Aku pulak dulu mengundi kat PD tapi kali ni kat KL sebab tukar ikut alamat kat IC. Suasana sama aje...meriah. Peraih undi pun berhemah aje kat bilik gerakan masing masing.

Dalam malas malas aku, ada jugak benda yang aku rajin...aku rajin main scambles with friends tu. Ha ha ha. Bangun tidur aje cari handphone check kalau ada turn aku nak kena play. Lawak tul.

Dah la phone aku tu aku berebut dengan Zahra sekarang. Aku ada record video Zahra...dia dok asyik nak layan video muka dia sendiri. Boleh? Sampai aku malas nak layan aku lock phone tu. Kadang kadang it works kadang kadang dia nangis. Kena la on kan balik. And to make her sleep is so mencabar ok. Dok ingat dia dah nak lelap sekali dia boleh bangun ajak main ke..nak makan ke apa aje la alasan dia.

Cuaca kat KL ni tak menentu. Hari ni panas sangat aku dok minum air banyak. Kelmarin hujan sampai tanah runtuh kat KL ni. Jalan pun sesak kat beberapa tempat yang ada tanah runtuh tu. Bile cuaca tak menentu aje aku jadi seram sebab musim demam dan selesema cepat berleluasa.

Bila panas panas ni kan...tak lalu nak makan. Asyik minum air aje. Ni yang tak sabar nak ke Welly ni merasa musim sejuk kat sana.

Aku punya la busy kan  sampai TV pun tak sempat nak tengok. Aku minat citer Suits tapi dah takde dah citer tu. Tukar dengan smash. Tak tahu la dah tamat season ke tak tapi macam cerita tergantung takde ending.

Sekarang ni tak sabar nak tunggu lagi 2 weeks sebab nak cuti sekolah. Boleh la merehat kan otak. Badan tak rehat biler cuti ni sebab letih berjalan. Plannya nak ke Cherating dan singgah ke Stop Grab Go. Hopefully semua di permudahkan.

Kalau tak lalu nak makan, layan tosey pun ok. Aku suka tosey rawa macam ni. Ehhh masuk cerita makanan lagi. Ha ha ha.

Cuti sekolah nanti apa plan korang? Liz mesti busy dengan new venture dgn Duan tu. Ita busy dengan apa la gamaknya. Good luck to Lizduan...semoga berjalan dengan lancar dan berjaya dengan cemerlang.

Cuti sekolah, nko g mana Ita? Ejin tak yah tanya lah,...mesti dia jawab g Ofis. Ha ha ha. Apa kes weekend pun g ofiskan. Kena kerja keras untuk habiskan secepat yang mungkin.

Oklah...aku dah malas semula. Gambar banyak ambik tapi malas nak tepek kat sini. Kena motivasikan diri untuk tepek gambar gambar meletops tu sebelum semua jadi pekasam. Nanti mood dah mari aku update lagi...still kemalasan ni...leceh sungguh.

The Best of the Month-Aariz is now walking

Aloha...ok nampak nya kita dah ada masa dah ni...good sign tau! Ha..ha..sapa aje lah yang tak busy kan tapi kena curi masa...curi sikit ya Grace...TQ!

 I classify this as the BEST news of the month -- Aariz is walking on his own again...I said again because he did walked for a few days back in Dec then he stopped...i.e. he would only raise his butt if tehre is support for him to hold on to..kalau jalan sendiri tak nak.
Then last tuesday- Hari hol kat Kuantan- we brought him  to Taman Bandar and Duan has successfully forced him to walk on his own...

Budak ni gayat sangat sampai hari ni pun tangan kat atas muka atas kepala while walking...entah apa pesen tah...ha..ha..Syukur ke hadrat Illahi...another blessing.Tq

You know I cant get enough with this boy...geram aje..kadang tengok dia macam fantastic four yg badan batu tu ha..ha..ha..sama dgn abah dia kan? Kesian jugak kat dia coz he is already 2 years 5 months tapi cakap tak boleh lagi...getting better lah..sikit sikit...slowly but surely..insyallah!
Tak lama lagi I think boleh bawak dia jalan more often...the truth is I hardly bawa dia jalan ...actually my style ni applies to all my boys...except for Afi because during Afi we didnt have a maid...mummy ni malas sikit opps....and I rasa baby better off kat rumah lah ikut their daily schedule...kalau kat luar semua tukar and they end up making tantrums...
Ok so alhamdulillah he is walking now... :)

Liz Duan's New Venture -Stop Grab Go

After so much thought.. anxiety ...hesitation..yes no yes no...we finally decided .."mutual decision"...to bought over the Stop Grab Go at East Coast Mall Kuantan. We think it is best for new comers in the industry to acquire an existing business rather than start everything from ground zero...what we have to do is to revamp the whole place and operations and make it ours!

This is the new venture that I have been hinting last 2 months and officially May 1st --mark as the first day, we took over the place and become an entrepreneur!

How do I feel? I think we share the same feelings...me and Duan...we both scared!seriously no joke...of course we always talk about going into business.. do our own things...bla bla bla ...and now with this opportunity--it is a blessing that we have the push factor but at the same time this is very alien to us...we dont have the specific experience or background...we have been makan gaji since the day we can remember...frankly we are nervous about this, feeling the challenge from day minus 1.... at the same time, there is also so much excitement in setting up this small business of ours.!

 Kudos to my models....hensem boh!

I will definitely share more of the restaurant here...the name is STOP GRAB GO (SGG)  -- we still maintain the old name --we have some strategy around it but I will share in my next posting-
The location is at East Coast Mall (ECM), Kuantan...which is right infront Zenith Hotel , and SGG is at the right of ECM building --you definitely wont miss it coming into ECM.

For your information , our actual brand name is  SLAKE & BITE -- SLAKE which is defined as quench your thirst -- is for the ice blended--and we have all sort of flavours..they are all very refreshing and can be customised according to your taste. It comes along with the "pearls" and some jellys . My favourite is Kedondong asam boi --

The BITE is for food--and our niche is the Burger Bakar --it is not like the normal burger bakar- I would say -- our aim on the taste is to match the one selling at Fendi's favourite spot ...:) It is a must try...try and come back again anad again lah ha..ha..ha. Our burger bakar is a jumbo size burger, chicken and beef...add on are fried egg, double jumbo, and beef bacon.We start selling the burger bakar last Sunday and alhamdulillah, so far we are getting tremendous good feedback.

Other food available here is Malaysia old time and everyone's favourite ... Nasi Lemak

and also Roti Arab with Sardine

More will come down on the menu list...as for now those are our servings. Whoever reads this and happen to be in Kuantan , do STOP and GRAB us...if it good tell others...if it is not please please tell us.
Fendi , Ita, Ejin...mari lah....korang are my no 1 critic...bila boleh mari?????? Jauh Ejin nak datang dari Wellington erghhhhh.....wish us luck peeps!!
