I do not know why but this year Raya Korban was pretty "dry" in a very wet season. The monsoon is here ..same time every year..so heavy downpour almost daily only for the past 2-3 days we have some shed of light but it is still very cold....it's winter tau in Kuantan...exaggerate lah sikit he..he..he..it is like the english weather ...breezy with rains...but ours yang sampai river pun overflow....right, back to Idul Adha...you see now it is Idul (no not Inul) ok no more Aidil...many things change overtime...I just had some conversation with my ipar duai during the raya...about ..i dont remember what...life maybe...and we touched on this subject that these days there tend to be so many colours like fushcia, turqoise, "wenghei-not sure about the spelling-but sebutan is like taht lah" and what not...it used to be merah jambu, biru cair , biru pekat, hijau cair hijau pekat...simple isnt it...but things are getting more complicated these days....are there more choices ...emmmm i doubt...
ape aku melalut ni...ok back to idul adha...it rained the whole raya...and "dry" because I think the excitement to celebrate raya korban is diminishing...which should not be the case...I think muslim should put more effort to rejoice or celebrate raya korban more than Eid Fitri, right?...and to add further to the "dryness", the caterer had failed to deliver the nasi dagang we ordered and tanpe rase bersalah told us straight to our face when we went to collect on the pagi raya itself...can you just imagine...it was not like we have other back up food or sth except for satay and nasi impit...GOSH...may Allah bless the caterer...
So idea utk relax goyang kaki and ngap ngap aje..bertukar menjadi agak kelam kabut lah but still under control ...(ceriter tu buat havoc sikit...he..he..)..so pagi raya masak soto...my idea..nak senang kerja..and direalisasikan oleh ibu mertua ku...i did my part ..mencarik daging ayam yg sudah direbus....
Apart from the dry and wet thing....we had our korban together this year..the 5 of us...amin...(gambar..tunggu Duan get from a friend- tahu aje lah we are the only family on earth not having a real camera).
Another occassion during the raya break, we celebrated angah's 8th birthday at my ipar's..actually tumpang sekaki the party they held for their youngest daughter....

about the caterer tu...entahlah...they said that saturday , dia actually kahwin kan anak so somehow dah pelik jugak kenapa dia willingly to accept our tempahan but then again dah dia kata ok...kite ok je lah...trauma kan..kah..kah..kah...
