Sketsa Hari Raya

Tolak today and the hari raya itself, we have another 5 days aje utk raya and 5 hari jugak uth ramadhan tahun ini. Rasa sekejap aje kan..Fendi tanya dah siap persiapan raya...i tot i want to write on that tapi tadi tgk past hari raya pictures...i feel like writing about previous hari raya lah...

This was last year...2011...we wore brown --my baju kurung was cotton bought in Bandung--and that year was Aariz's first hari raya..he was so very small, kan? The routine as always, we celebrated malam raya in Pekan then move on to JB after sembahyang and visiting some relatives nearby to PIL's house.

It was only last year...tapi Afi aje nampak sangat beza nya kan? Bujang sgt dah dia tahun ni..>Adib pun was such a baby aje last year...Angah yg tak banyak difference kan? ..risau sgt dia tak besar besar...In fact yesterday when we went to get new songkok for Duan and him..org kedai tanya kembar ke dgn Adib and which is abang? Tension sgt Angah ha..ha..and  that was not the firts time..Oh gosh..I should get Adib to try his kain sampin...Angah lambat sgt nak hand-me-down to Adib itu masalah jugak...I think last year kot kena get new songkok for Adib sebab Angah can still fit his...Then early this year Adib pakai songkok Angah for KAFA itu yg Angah kena beli baru.

Food ni kira prelude for waht we are going to get this year....gembira kan? Yummyyyyyyyy....Nasi dagang, laksa pahang, nasi minyak, satay, ketupat, lemang,...sebut lagi apa nak...semua ada ...

Ni nak tunjuk belakang tu...the part yg sgt bercinta...packing..punya seligai benda bawak sampai tak nampak dah cermin belakang tu...Itu pun dah habis light lah tu punya packing...semalam Duan ajak kemas tapi malasnya lah....tapi today dah start kena pack lah...kalau tak ada yg tertinggal pula...payah... 

 Ni at my aunty ana's...I suka macam ni...lepak lepak selow selow driving ke Johor...then meet up with my family...rather than turun KL then raya kedua to JB. Budak2 ni semua except for Angah , dah besar2 belaka semua...Inas,my cousin Farahin and Noin...dah very teenage..it indicates what? ?? kita mudo lah ha..ha..ha..

Ni...2010

Most of the time kan kita tak rasa that time really flies and we actually grow from one year to another...slelau kita kata kita tak rasa pun ...but looking back at the old pictures, we could actually witness the differences...at times even air muka is a bit different ....
 2010...we wore Green....This is the kind of green that I like...I was carrying Aariz during this raya...my maxi dress was bought in Isetan--it was also worn by Maya Karin in Nona  right after raya....nak jugak sebut tu ha...ha..

For 2010--we actually went down to KL after sembahyang in Pekan..so all those people actually had to wait for us...Itu yg tak shiok because they got to wait for us before moving on to their destinations..like Boy to treangganu...Bell to kedah or Muar...Darling to Melaka...that is why I like to go down to JB senang...we dont have to rush and they dont ahve to wait...Actually all of them would come down to JB raya ke3 except for Boy so better lah jumpa raya ke 3...

 My sisters...see my perut...comel ke??? And Ann was carrying Afroza--she could still squeeze in a kurung moden...my mom punya baju kot

 But the good thing about raya in KL is meeting with my Baba ...or we would entirely miss him for hari raya...high commitment my dad ni he..he..And another thing is meeting my aunt...Aunty Sidah and Aunty Anom...they were my pengasuh when I was small thus they always stay special in my heart...Aunty Sidah ..she is 10 years older than me and people say taht we do look alike...kira kira cantik lah aku at her age nanti ha..ha..Tak gitu???

Tahun ni kita turun KL jugak..and brought along Tok Bibah to JB on 2nd Raya...First day of raya in the evening we went to Ann's place back then in Shah Alam

On our way down to JB...breakfast at KFC...ha..ha..ha...

My kebaya is from Bandung also....letih kan? ha..ha..

Darling and Azlin first raya as husband and wife...Romantic sangat lagi...these days...tak tahu lah...ha..ha..cik darling cer comment!!

I cant really recall but looking at the masks the boys were wearing, I believe 2009 was the H1N1 year.

Comel sangat aku tengok muka Mat Dib ni...he is so kurus tau sekarang because of puasa...He doesnt eat that much masa berbuka..sahur pun sikit jugak..I think kena buat Tomyam lah today...he would eat more kalau ada tomyam...but tomyam pulak masam...emmm

2008---panjang lagi cxite kita ni ha..ha..ha..selagi ada folder yg ada ada gambar raya...so enjoy reading ok..kalau bosan sambung nanti ha..ha..

 So 2008 was the final year I bought my baju raya at Gulatis /Euro Moda--growing up that is the only kedai kain yg aku tahu.....my mom approve kedai ni...:) .perhaps 2008 tahun akhir lah pergi ke Gulatis tu...pergi Gulatis mesti singgah makan nasi beriani kedai sebelah tu ...apa namanya...Fendi tahu lah...

I bet Duan tengok gambar ni mesti kempunan nak kurus ha..ha..

Ni jugak tahun akhir we made the laksa...sekarang order aje...tak de sapa nak membanting tulang buat from scratch...tapi sebenarnya fun buat sendiri tapi banyak kerja lah...kerja akak cap aje pun..

Also our final year following my mom beraya in Singapore....My mom ajak ni tahun ni...kita kata insyallah...nak melawat bakal adik ipar ...:)
Boleh singgah USS...kalau rajin...but Chumad ajak gi main bowling...entah macam mana tu sebab chumad is my mom driver for the raya...ha..ha..ha..controversy controversy....
That black and white baju kurung is one of my favourite...bought from a boutique in Shah Alam..it is cotton...

 I just love this picture that I want to share again here...tengok Mat Dib tu mcm tgh mengamuk...he called this morning terjerit jerit tak nak gi sekolah sebab terjatuh longkang...he said he cant walk..so I said tak pe Abah balik hantar adib gi sekolah...terus dia mandi and told bibik to sms me and inform he is going to school...very mischievous kan..

In the very same 2008 hari raya folder, I found this picture...ni kat Teratak Bro Fendi.. Buka puasa ke hari raya celeb ni?? Aku tak ingat lah...Tengok semua babies lagi...Misha at that angle macam Tasha aje pandangan and senyum dia kan? kelakar noh sesorang rupa nya...

 Theme was green + coklat...Adib kena sengat lebah malam raya...pagi bangun bengkak cam tu...and he didnt even complain...punya lah hero.
I was being genius lah tu ..pakai spec lagi..malas aku...ha..ha..ha..

I am so true to say tahun comot kan? I found this in Raya 2007 folder...tak ke comot sangat ni sorang sorang ha..ha..ha..Kalau rambut Misha tu tak tahu lah pesen apa ayah dia punya idea lah tu...Ita dgn tudung 2 dara pingitan nya...Cha cha was so adorable masa tu kan...and still is.. Ita baik lah kau tebus kecomotan ni tahun ni okays...ajak lah kita gi makan makan lasagne kat Bukit Jelutung tu...ishhhhh payah tau Ita ni!

Siap Sudah Persiapan Raya

Lega Pak Ngah rasa biler semua persiapan raya dah selesai. Semalam kami ke Jalan TAR. Aiyo...lemas berada di lautan manusia. At 1 point masa nak ke Kamdar...terpaksa bersesak sesak untuk berjalan. Tobat nak ke situ lagi.

Sejak Zara dah boleh jalan ni...Fid gigih nak carikan baju kurung. Kalau tak boleh jalan kami ingat nak sarungkan gaun aje. Senang. Selepas Fid and EJ dapat tudung dan kerongsang masing masing, kami keluar masuk kedai untuk cari baju kurung for Zara. Yang ada pun kat Gulatis aje tapi kami tak beli sebab kat dada dan tangan penuh batu batuan nak lip lap lip lap. Kami risau Zara gigit batu tu masuk mulut. Sebab dia masih suka mengutip dan gigit benda benda.

Aku tak tahu apa yang dia suka sangat ni gurau dengan kakak dia. Aku cam biasa...bz whatsapp. ha ha ha.

Semalam tak berjaya menangkap baju kurung for Zara. Tadi kami ke Wangsa Walk pulak. In less than an hour kami dapat 2 pasang. harga pun berpatutan. Sebelum tu ada jugak jumpa baju untuk budak budak setahun dua tapi harga ada yang mencecah RM159. Mahalkan. Budak budak pakai kejap aje...cuma warna tu biar la ceria sikit kan. Banyak yang jumpa cotton pastu warna cam  sesuai untuk veteran macam Ejin, Ita dan Liz je pakai.

Balik ke rumah aje terus sarungkan kat Zara. She was so happy dapat baju kurung sebab dia pun cam curious and seronok baju tu ada kain. Selalu pakai rompers and seluar aje kan. Gaun pun jarang jarang, Orang paling seronok sekali tengok Zara pakai baju kurung...tentu la Atuk dia. Suka bangat atuk tengok zara macam girl girl pakai baju kurung. Lepas siap bershopping kami ke Param. Beli tembikai untuk buat air dan kueh mueh. Pastu terus drive ke Mont Kiara untuk beli juadah berbuka.

Singgah kat kedai jual manisan arab. Sedap sedap. Aku paling suka yang macam bihun tu. Crispy...tak manis sangat and dalamnya ada kacang, Satanem.

Kami ke Mont Kiara sebab nak ke Tony Romas...tapau food for iftar. Caesar salad and crispy chicken. Berlambak chicken sampai tak habis.

Aku cam biasa la...layan ribs. Sedapnya terasa rasa kat anak tekak ni kelazatan ribs tu.

Zara with her fav toy. Suka sangat dia peluk benda tu. Tapi kalau dia bosan dia campak aje. Pastu biler nak dia cari balik...part paling dia suka...ekor giraffe tu...dia gigit gigit.

Korang dah siap ke persiapan untuk raya?

Dah jadi macam routine, kalau free ajer bawak my parents and the kids jejalan petang ..bukan apa, kesian kat my mum ..dia terperuk kat rumah ...esp biler my SIL kerja petang ....my SIL balik kol 9.30, aku ngan Dom plak selalu balik kol 7-8 gitu ..kira dorang have to deal with the kids berdua ajer ...so, kalau aku free sket...kalau balik awal and cuaca elok, aku bawak dorang kuar ....saja2 to get out of the routine ....

tempat favouritekami is Taman Sahabat ...Friendship Park ...kat sini ada ponds yang penuh ikan ....Al and adik memang suka tengok ikan2 kat sini ...and banyak paths and tempat duduk ....my mum jalan sket kena duduk ....tapi at least dorang jalan2 ....

Tempat nie actually banyak arca2 peringatan lah ...and design dia ala2 cina gitu coz it is a friendship park between Malaysia-China ...tapi kalau perati betol2 it is more China than Malaysia ...pada pandangan aku lah ...orang lain aku tak tau :-)

Tapi tempat nie one thing lah, dia punya kolam tu takde railing ...kalau ada pun jarang2 ...so, i was a bit concerned about safety ...especially bawak budak2 ....dorang kan kalau boleh nak tengok ikan sedekat2 yang boleh ....so, kena alert selalu ...adik and Al nie were told to pegang tangan adults ajer kalau ekat2 kawasan kolam ....

adik yang selalu nak lepas ..dia tak nak dipegang ...

kalau nak feed the fish, kena beli dia punya food ..tapi masa tu ramai sangat orang feed the fish, kami malas ..or to be exact, aku malas nak gi belikan fish pellets kat dorang, so aku soh dorang berdua nie tengok ajer .....jalan2 kat sana memang berpeluh2 ...tempat nya agak luas ...so, biler agak2 dorang dah letih, my dad ajak duduk melepak kat one of the gazebo ...rest dulu before jalan pusing taman untuk balik ke tempat park kereta :-)

adik bukan nak duduk, terus baring! letih sangat gamaknya ...

yang nie Al ambik kan gambar kami ....ok lah ...cuma my dad's head ter cut off sket hehehehe  ...and adik tu mengeliat nak berebut camera ....

lama gak tak buat aktiviti jejalan nie ....cuti raya nanti nak gi Taman Orkid pulak lah ..bawak my mum gi sana ...sure dia suka

My make up Box

Ni cite kemas jugak but before Ramadan....kira aci lah since i have been keeping the pictures. Itw as just a routine cleaning and also because I got myself a nice red make up box from SKII--

it was  their Christmas promotions gift box. It was not in the promotion when I bought my stuff but they gave it to me because I asked...I actually casually asked if I can get one of those boxes--they had a few at the side of teh counter--and the promoter was nice enough to give me one....happy tak? happy lahhh...

So I cleared my drawers ...melambak kan everything ...

and susun again everything. Some pre loved but never ever used like lipsticks...or used like once or twice ...were all given to bibik...jenuh lah bibik pakai lipstick kat rumah he..he..he..

We are so obsessed with lipsticks kan...one or two is never enough we got to have like 10 to 15 but still end up using one or two jugak. The reason  is always if only we need to match with the cloth kan..memacam

During the cleaning session, i came accross this CD eye shadow....know what this i actually my hantaran back in 1996...Kelas dok hantaran CD okays...now I pakai MAC ha..ha..ha..downgraded ke apa tu? Actually I dah lama nak revert to CD but somehow MAC is ok with me...so saja mengada ngada sebab casing dia cantik camno tu?

punya lah ....ok ok do your maths ...how long is that...definitely dah expired right?

I hardly use eye shadow...I think eye shadow is just too much lah...and besides I dont really know how to apply...My routine is only compact powder, blusher, eye liner and lipstick. Only in those occassion when I really want to dress up then I apply eye shadow, kalau tak tak de lah...and that's why lah this eye shadow is pretty much full..tak gerak pun ha..ha...

Ah...ni another freebies from SKII....toiletries or make up bag..Afi nak jadi model so kasi can lah...Tu happy pakai SKII...banyak freebies kan...biar bayar beratus pun rasa macam berbaloi aje dapat freebies cam ni...penyakit aku ni!Kan? i think so lah...

Pre Raya Housekeeping Part2

Hi...salam ramadan all..
So sambungan kisah mengemas hari tu...My house cleaning that weekend didnt stop at my leather sofas....I also did my kitchen...I dont have that many piggan mangkuk...i think i told this before.
Most are bought during uni in the UK...some additions from my wedding gifts and that's about it...Adalah sikit sikit yg recently I bought like those white dinnerware.
Sebesar besar cabinet tu...sesikit sikit barang pun penuh juga...sekali lepas kemas banyak pun empty spaces..

Part fo the kitchen cabinet ...after cleaning...bersih dok?????????
Suka kan? suka cangat ..............:)

Pre raya housekeeping-Part1

My whole body is aching...started last friday with my left thumb..tak tahu kena apa..dah di urut dek Duan tapi lagi sakit pagi ni...now seluruh badan aching...Fendi kata sakit tua lah tu...Duan pun kata gitu...well kalau 39 tak rasa tua lagi tak tahu lah...ha..ha..yg pening gracefully booooooooo.

I have been working --cleaning..housekeeping  during the weekends ....doing the SuriRumah Chores.......perhaps those contribute to the sakit badan as well...

Ok the first weekend  of ramadan tu, I clear the garden...Bibik tak mampu nak buat semua with Aariz who needs 24-7 supervisions... he always on the go -- moving around except while sleeping and hates his rocker--those days are gone when you can station him in his rocker infront of the baby tv...he still watching baby tv but not as devoted as before....my definition of devotion here is to sit still enjoying the baby tv prog....now he still watching with his mouth opened like this but on the move lah..

Here we go some before and after pictures of the garden....The before...with Adib as my my assistant...asked him to trim the leaves...He did well, eventhough he tend to chop more than required. I planted rumput carpet but now there are more than one species there....redha je lah...asalkan hijau!

The after...decorated the space with garden stones...we have loads of those...dok lah simpan for the past one year...penuh semut...Boleh lah kan the transformation?

 The garden has been abandoned way too long...until I didnt even realised that this favourite plant of mine dah patah batang nya...but still surviving tau...because of the support from those roots at the side of the batang..

Then this weekend, started of with cleaning the leather chairs and sofa...Rajin kan? yelah tu...dah setahun kot tak cuci...berkurun rasanya...Hard work tau...penat jugak...

This leather cleaner is bought from Rozel...it is quite mild, good for those new leather

but cant do much to my old sofa...nasib baik i have a  stronger leather cleaner...can spot the difference tak? The right one is before cleaning ,

I laways love leather.. it requires maintenance but last longer. We started of with PVC --dah kojol dah kusi tu ...blue in colour...and this white full leather Lorenzo was bought long time ago ...I think dah nearly 10 years...way before i joined Grace...even teh cushion is still in very good condition...i think it is latex kot.

Actually...last weekend we visited Rozel, to window shop for a sofa for MIL...didnt find any for MIL but we almost... almost bought this sofa which is on sales for ourselves..Nasib baik, had second thought and decided to zero the cards first ha..ha..ha..Syukurrrrrrrrrr...Itu yg balik terus cuci my leather sofa..see sometimes new toy is not necessary ..what we need is to just polish what we have and be appreciative...Kena ke such sentence for a leather sofa...ha..ha..

We are down to the final 10 day of Ramadan...am reminding myself...

first aid kit - content suggestion

Orang sibuk bersukan pun tak cedera, tapi aku yang sibuk tengok Olimpik kat TV boleh cedera ...macam mana tu?

yesterday aku terjatuh ...tak le seteruk mana pun, tapi somehow pergelangan kaki aku yang pernah terseliuh dulu bertambah sakit  ...after dinner bertambah sakit and jalan pun terhenjut2 ...biler check baru nampak ankle aku swollen huhuhuhu Jane kata aku should balut and not put pressure on my foot ..so dia ambik lah our first aid kit and start doing the bandaging etc ....and baru aku tahu first aid kit kat rumah aku tu well-stocked ..semua ada dalam tu ..segala jenis band aid, gunting etc ....and tadi aku gi cerita lah kat my friends yang aku impressed kat rumah aku ada first aid kit yang boleh dikatakan lengkap hahahaha ...

and out of curiousity, aku google website and check, apa should be in a first aid kit ....according to satu website nie, a first aid should contain the following items:

• acetaminophen and/or
• ibuprofen
• tweezers
• alcohol wipes
• antiseptic hand cleaner
• medical adhesive tape
• sterile gauze (four inch squares are best)
• elastic bandages
• several sizes of adhesive bandages
• insect bite swabs
• triple-antibiotic ointment
• hydrogen peroxide
• bandage scissors
• triangular bandages
• instant cold packs
• exam gloves
• barrier device for CPR

out of that items, aku check our first aid kit and lo and behold ada 10 item yang disenaraikan diatas ..semua nya Jane yang sediakan (go figures lah) ...last sekali bukak first aid kit tu pun masa my dad sakit kaki kena duri sawit dulu ...

so, penting ada first aid kit nie ...bukan setakat nak balut kaki seliuh macam aku nie ...or setakat nak clean wounds etc ....kiter tak tahu what is going to happen, jadi better lah be prepared :-) and another thing is that make sure semua isi rumah tahu kat mana first aid kit tu diletakkan ...semalam aku cari sana sini tak tau kat mana ..mak aku kata carik kat store, my dad kata maybe dalam boot kereta ..and my brother kata tinggal kat kebun kot ...see, semua tak tau kat mana ..Jane sorang yang tahu tempat nya :-)
