Raya Beraya

Posting ni nak citer pasal 2 hari meroyan beraya geng ronggeng. He he he. Rasanya tahun ni meriah kami beraya. On Saturday Fid kerja, lepas kerja kami tunggu kak long Fid datang dari Rawang. Kak Ngah pula tunggu di Pandan Indah. Lepas tu kami berkonvoi ke Taman Kencana beraya ke Open House Nuarlin. Geng ronggeng yang lain semua dah balik sebab diorang kol 12 dah terpacak depan rumah. Yang ada Zamreen aje sebab sampai almost same time dengan kami.

Hidangan wajib. Nasi dagang merah dan putih. Lauk pulak ikan tongkol dan gulai ayam. Sedap dan bertambah makan. Lepas tu kami gerak ke Shah Alam dan terus ke plaza pkns. Adik aku jadi rakan kongsi buka restoran nasi kerabu. Ada open house merangkap launching.

Nasi Kerabu terbaik. Mantap sangat. Cili tu pedas dan sedap.

Muka puas hati dapat makanan sedap. 

Dari nasi kerabu kami ke seksyen 7 pulak. Open house sepupu Fid. Makan makan lagi walaupun dah kekenyangan. 

Dari Shah Alam aku ke Putrajaya attending open house Nahar. Ramai orang kat open house tu walaupun dah malam. Dari situ kami balik Keramat sampai nearly 11 mlm. Penat sangat.

Esoknya geng ronggeng beraya ke Nilai. Rumah kawan geng ronggeng masa kerja dgn HLA. Kak zie menjamu kami nasi dan lauk pauk. Borak borak sampai ke petang.

Aku jamu baked macaroni, nasi goreng cili api dengan rendang ayam pegaga.  Lepak borak borak sampai ke petang.

Akhir sekali tepek gambar selfie mamat hensem. Lol. 

Next week ada satu lagi open house. Lepas tu the following week anak sedara aku bertunang. Sekian saje kisah sawan beraya.

Attraction in Nelson, NZ - Centre of New Zealand

Welly sejuk gila pagi nie..angin southerly dia bukan setakat mendayu dayu tapi more like menjerit2 kat luar tingkap aku nie. So, akak rasa buat posting dulu lah sebelum berkira nak kuar gi opis ...lagipun today is Friday kan ...I always treat friday as a day yang aku tak perlu ikut schedule sangat ..kalau org yang diet tu, kira my friday is my cheat day at work :-)

That last holiday tu, my friend and I actually based ourselves at Nelson. Kecik jer town nyer but it is a popular town for those yang nak explore Abel Tasman and Golden Bay ..ada gak le yang based themselves in Motueka (nearest town to Abel Tasman NAtional Park) but Nelson ni besar lagi and lots more services la...lagipun the Naked Bus yang kami ambik tu memang stop at Nelson ..so senang ...

On the second day there we decided to go up the hill to visit the Centre of New Zealand. semua orang dok recommend to go there coz from there boleh tengok pemandangan Nelson city ..panaromic view gitu ...our Backpacker owner gave us the direction ...hahaha tapi kami berdua pandai ...lupa bawak map yang dia beri kan ...pastu menonong dua dua carik haluan ....

and masa kitorang mula nak mendaki tu dah kol 4 lebih ....coz we planned to watch the sunset from the top of the hill ....mula2 memang flat jer lah jalan kan ...hahaha pastu mula lah naik sket ...hehehe sebelum naik banyak! some places are steep ...and i was feeling grumpy jugak le...like "bila nak sampai nie????" the start of point for the walk tu kat Queens Park ...then cross that rugby field ...then baru pendakian bermula ....aku pulak test kn my hiking boots masa nie ...sebab i was advised to have it "broken" before the real hiking adventure at Abel Tasman (posting terdahulu)

but the view - as i said over and over again - was really outstanding! We can see the snow-capped mountain masa nak daki bukit tu ....

kawan aku bawak camera canggih ..so boleh lle dapat gambar cam nie :-)

masa nie dah penat hahaha ...kata 20min lagi tapi tak sampai2 ponnnnnnnn ....

but when we reached the top ...it was worth it ..and we get to see the sunset jugak up there ....we reached there first ..then ada 3 org joggers joinned us ..and we ended up talking to one jogger tu - who happened to be a tourist ..and an avid mountain climber ...

that long stretch of bay di kejauhan adalah parts of Abeel Tasman National Park :-) and in between is the Tasman Sea

This place is called the Centre of NZ ...sebab geographically, merangkumi North and South Islands, it is the centre of NZ ...according to the surveyor's map kata nya ....

 

so, been there, done that ..and can get the Centre of NZ off my NZ bucket list. Somewhere in the list is Cape Reinga - the most northwestern point kat north island pulak :-) ntah bila la tu kannnnn

We left after the sun has set ...along with Fred- that guy yang kitorang kenal masa kat sana ...and all three of us was keen to see the kauri tree ...one of the native trees of NZ and can be so big ...but disappointed le jugak ..kauri tree yang ada kat sini kecik setoet ajer ..padahal tanam in 1951 ....nevermind ...maybe i will see the most outstanding kauri tree in some other parts of NZ ...

Hiking in Abel Tasman - Day 2: Pitts Head and Te Pukatea Bay

Sambungan my mini holiday aritu ...terpaksa mencelah di posting raya abang ngah dulu  ....

that was the view when we arrived at Anchorage Bay on the first day of hiking ...by then memang aku sangat letih but sangat teruja sebab finally sampai destinasi for the night! We booked a night stay kat hut di situ ...mahal sebab it is under Department of Conservation ...and it is very basic ..no heating or hot water ...nanti aku buat separate posting on the accommodation. But at least we have a proper house ..and bukan camping ...sebab it was freezing kan ...again, sapa tah plan gi hiking in the middle of winter!!!

The very next day, Berna and I woke up late..org lain semua dah bangun seawal yang boleh ...and org yang sebilik ngan kitorang even woke up at 6.30am and then by 7am dia dah start his journey ...crazy hahaha ...kitorang lepak2 ...breakfast semua ..then repack our bag ....and leave to explore one of the side track ...the original plan was to track from Anchorage Bay to Barks Bay ..and lalu Torrent Bay ...but bila check the tide schedule, cam tak sempat nak sampai Barks Bay by 3.00pm ...and kalau ikut high tide track plak, thats an additional 2km ..and both of us were not that keen to use high tide track ..so decide to take the less strenuous track ..ambik side track i.e. Anchorage to Te Pukatea Bay malalui Pitts Head and balik ke Anchorage Bay to catch a water taxi back to Marahau ..we already booked a shuttle from Marahau to Nelson at 4.00pm ..so change of plan to suit that ....

Ternyata our change of plan tak sia sia ..sebab the hike also melalui kawasan yang view nya amat outstanding ...seriously, every where we looked..memang sangat cantik ....lots of stops along the way to enjoy and appreciate the view ...gambar tak dpt capture sepenuhnya the magnificent sceneries ...memang betul le apa orang kata..places in South Island have these magical qualities ...like having a slice of paradise saujana mata memandang

air laut sangat sangat jernih ...OMG I cannot believe how jernih it is ..that's Tasman Sea by the way ..tapi takyah le berangan angan nak mandi laut at this time of the year ..it was soooooo cold! i only dipped my fingers into the water ..and my God, that was enough ..terasa numb jari jemari ku yang montok banyak lemak ni ....kalau org kurus lagi le terasa gamaknya!

from that fabulous lookout, kitorang can see a colony of fur seals playing in the water ...and it is one of the things that I can now crossed off my bucket list ...Abel Tasman nie memang popular as animal sanctuary ...ada special package just to go seal watching ..and if nasib baik, you can see dolpins and whales and penguins katanya ....i saw two dolphins ..but bkn kat sini ...saw it when i was on the ferry from Welly to Picton ..awesome sangat rasanya ...another thing I can cross of the bucket list!

Torrent Bay at the distance

Halfway to Te Pukatea Bay tu kena lalu forest area ...full of the famous NZ fern and other native trees...

kat malaysia paku pakis cam kecik ajer kan ...kat sini menang giant giant belaka ....Berna sangat sangat excited tengok all these greens ..for me so so ajer .....macam kat kebun kat kampung aku kannnn except for part fern tu lah ...then out of the blue, Te Pukatea Bay terbentang luas di depan mata ........

weather a bit gloomy when we arrived here ..and we were actually quite disappointed sebab the bay is a bit "crowded" ...ada 3 kayaks di situ ...the six kayakers were resting and exploring the bay ...sad sebab usually we got the beach to ourselves ..hahaha over kan! the my friend told us (masa dah balik welly) that kalay masa summer ...memang penuh bay nie ngan orang hahaha the beauty of hiking in winter is that memang takde orang lah ....so, six other people pun feel like it was an intrusion ...

we spent two hours here ..relaxing ...having lunch ...reflecting on life in general ...and just enjoy the solitude ...the kayakers left after an hour or so ...pastu tinggal us and the seagulls ...heavenly ...

we went back to Anchorage Bay from here ...just over 1.5km ajer ..and we reached the Bay by 3.00pm and waited for our water taxi ...that's another story untuk next time ...panjang cerita hahaha sebab nak kena tinggal water taxi :-)

Birthday Celebration for geng ronggeng

Ini kisah semalam, plan secara mengejut CT K ajak beraya ke rumah dia di Sentul. 

Terlanjur semua geng ronggeng ada, kita celebrate sekali Birthday untuk yang lahir bulan 7, 8 dan 9. Kira advance celebration la untuk september babies.

Sanpai aje kat runah CT k terus melantaj dulu makan kenyang kenyang. Lepas tu sembang sembang  gelak gelak sambil tunggu Zamreen yang flight delay. Kol 5 baru sampai, masa tu yang lain lain dah macam sawa kenyang.

Tak dapat nak order cake yang ada picture birthday babies sebab tuan kedai cake sibuk beraya. Order velvet cake dari secret recipe aje.

Muka muka birthday babies. Zahra oun join sekali sebab dia lahir 8 July. 

Kan main susah nak suruh dia pandang camera. Hafiy lagi susah nak ajak berposing. Mama reen kena posing dengan zahra aje la.

Semua masuk posing sekali. The bous sibuk layan game ahow korea tu. Tak heran nak posing posing.

Fid sempat shopping tudung sehelai. Tu yang posing dengan tudung baru. Jenis lilit lilit. 

Lepas dah puas berborak, kami semua bersurai. Aku siap tapau macam macam dari rumah CT k makan masa dinner. Layannn.

Raya di Perantauan - Year 2

Kiter pon nak buat posting raya gak le ...tak mau kalah ngan abang ngah Keramat :-)

This is my second raya di bumi NZ tercinta nie ...last year aku gi raya kat HIgh Comm jer ..and then raya kedua gi raya kat my friends ...this year, HIgh Comm punya celebration muted sket ...with all the incidents in Malaysia - MH370 and MH17 semua tu, so takde sembahyang raya semua tu ....cuma petang raya tu ada event kat HIgh Comm but akak tak pergi as I have prior engement ..

Tapikan nak raya pun confuse sekejap warga Welly ...coz malam sunday tu masing2 check FIANZ website untuk tengok confirmation raya ..i checked kol 8 lebih gitu and it said moon has not been sighted, maka raya Tuesday ..so, dah sedih le kan sebab raya lambat sehari than malaysia ...and i never checked the website again ...so plan with my friends memang takde lah ,,,sebab belum raya ...alih2 aku bangun tido the next day tu ...tengok ada message from syerina ..bgtau raya monday! terkejut badak le akak kan ...so check FIANZ website again ...and they had made another announcement (kol 1am gitu) kata moon has been sighted and raya monday hahaha ...see, how kalut it is .....aku memang tak masak apa2 ....so message with my friends, and we are invited to a few open houses lah ...maka gi le rumah postgrad yang buat open house tu  ...and then to another house - Malaysian PR kat sini ....

missing my nephews and niece ..so sana pinjam anak orang :-) Daem looks so cute ...he reminds me so much of Airell at that age!

and terubat gak rindu pada nasi dagang. Sebab kat open house yang pertama di Lower Hutt, juadah utama is nasi dagang ..so yummy! dapat gak le rendang ..lemang...sambal jawa ....and teh tarik ....selera perantau ku was satisfied :-) then asa gi open house yang kat Newlands tu dapat satay ....and lots of other yummy dishes ...gambar2 food takde ...sebab aku pemalu :-) gambar pun tak banyak sebab aku dok sopan santun ajer kannnnnnnn

ada lagi le gambar ramai2 ngan warga Malaysia di sini tapi sebab pakai camera org lain kan ....so akak pun tak tengok lagi ...nanti2 ada le tu! anyway, aku balik after two houses ..sebab my flatmate nak balik Germany for good and I promised her i antar dia ke airport for our last goodbye ...

then raya ke dua, kitorang raya kat rumah Nurul ...sebab dia call kata ada lontong ...sekali pergi bukan setakat lontong, ada jugak ayam merah ...and sambal daging ...plus a lot (and I mean A LOT!!!) of cookies and sweet stuffs ...then malam tu jugak pesta biskut raya kat Maungaraki ...siap tapau balik almond London ....that was 2 weeks ago ...minggu lepas ada gak jemputan raya tapi akak tak gi ..sebab akak gi jejalan town ngan Maryam - lama tak jumpa dia kan ..and esok ada satu lagi jemputan ...but belum decide samada nak gi atau tidak ....and 24th nie pun ada satu lagi jemputan ...yang tu aku nak gi :-) tapi tak tau ada transport ke idak untuk gi sana ...we'll see ..sebab it is out of town ...

aku ada plan nak buat makan makan here ..but so far cannot find the right time yang semua org yag aku jemput tu free ..menu ku plan tu simple ajer ....but tengok le camne ....

Sakan Beraya

Hari ni ada plan nak attend wedding dan perjumpaan raya. So cecepat aku buat posting beraya sebab nak kasi mood Raya mari. Lol. Walaupun xde jemputan open house. Kemeriahan raya kena tetap di bangkitkan. Baju raya dah siap sedia untuk kita melaram.

Ni gambar raya kat Kempas. Masa raya ke 5. 

On raya ke 6 Reen punya Birthday kami dari Port Dickson terus gerak ke Semenyih. Nuarlin dari Kencana di tugaskan mencari besday cake. Sampai malam kat Semenyih ngam ngam waktu dinner. 

Bersungguh sungguh zamreen masak untuk bff. Sedap makan bertambah tambah especially bila ada budu penyedap dgn petai. Lepak rumah Zamreen sampai midnite. Lepas kami balik family Zamreen pulak datang sampai pukul 2 pagi Zamreen melayan family dia. Raya sakan orang Semenyih ni. He he.

Raya ke 7 nuarlin ikut kami ke Puchong. Dapat la beraya dengan kak ngah Fid. 

Meriah berposing. Aku tepek je la kan since gambar dah ada. 

The COCO - couple comel. Kalau poaing sambil dukung baby lagi comel kan kan kan. 

Kak Ngah jamu nasi Arab. Masa bulan puasa nak makan nasi arab dari reataurant Saba ni tak kesampaian. Dapat layan puas puas masa ni. Sedap sangat.

Anak sedara buat rojak buah dengan tauhu sumbat. Sedap sangat kuah cili yang dia buat. Aku memang suka tauhu sumbat.

Posing tempat sama. Tapi yang ni aku ada dalam picture. Ha ha ha.

Dari Puchong kami ke Rawang. Beraya rumah kak long pulak.

Lastly kami ke Kuang rumah kawan kak ngah. Rumah dia ada pokok rambutan yang tengah lebat berbuah. Dapat la kami merasa rambutan fresh from the tree. Lepas dah kenyang berkonvoi balik. Happy dapat jalan raya sebelum esoknya kena start kerja.
