Melaka-The Heritage City

It was our first family trip to Melaka, individually we had visited this historical town some time ago , only Duan's was quite recent. We took the opportunity during kenduri bertandang for Darling to visit a few places around the town itself


We stayed in Mahkota Hotel Melaka...a 2 bedroom apartment..it's school holiday, and all other hotels we called were fully booked and we were blessed to have this apartment as the booking was done in the car on our way down to Melaka:)
And we had our go as tourists...for some reasons there were 2 strangers asking me where we are from...it was kind of strange actually at least for me..first of all, we dont really cuti cuti malaysia so i am not sure if that question is common...you see if we are in indon or singapore as an example and the local ask you , where are u from, then straight away we proudly annouce we are malaysian...but malaysian asking another malaysian???melayu pulak.... it took me a few second before answering ...Kuantan..a few questions came to my mind before answering them, i dont talk like indon so these people must be awared that i am a malaysian..but why they want to know where i am from? i actually stumbled answering them...he..he..he...
a famosa...we actually just posing at the entrance and chow kah...kah...kah..there is a hill behind which we passed for now...
The trishaws brought us to this place with keretapi tanah melayu zaman tokkadok and an old plane..we were like haiyo what are we supposed to here...ok ok tangkap gambar...just follow the flow...

Then the next day at 10am before Mard's house(for the majlis jemput menantu) we queued for almost half an hour for the Taming Sari Tower..thought we were the earliest, ade yg sebelum subuh dah beratur gamaknya...for some reason height and me

do not match....

In short Melaka is an interesting town (ke city?) -Duan said we will go again in the future .."ku ambil itu sebagai janji"...teka sape punya phrase tu???????
