Perkahwinan My sister Anne Ngasri

Alhamdulillah miggu lepas 22 Dec, adik kita Cik Ann as I like to call her ...has tied the knot with  Sumali--he is one or two year older than me but heiii I am still kak long!

We had the akad nikah at a very nice place named Homestay Citra...The house is  a replicate of an old wooden istana which creates warm ambience suitable  for a traditional malay wedding. Fresh flowers were used for the pelamin nikah and the moment you entered the house, the atmoshpere was deliciously "wangi".

You guys know how I love Lilies and Melur...we have those everywhere..wait I think there is no lilies ...but lots of roses...the smell is heavenly. I got to buy some this weekend for new year...:) feeling feeling sendiri...

As usual akak amik berkat...I actually tag this pic at Duan's FB adalah pulak hamba Allah komen kang Duan teringin naik pelamin sekali lagi adoiiii..so next time akak bergambar sorang je lah...memacam..

The family wore peach orange-y as the color code...I wont choose such colour on my own but now I think it is a nice colour.

Do ignore Duan's light pinkish baju melayu...terlari tema sikit..his kain was given to Afi because he said he got that same colour already...sukahati je lah!

There were so many reporters and what not-- huge crowd! It is quite difficult to handle the reporters actually...First of all, they came to a wedding in a wrong dress code--it does to certain extent a sore to the eyes--but they were there working...then secondly they conquered the front rows...so you can imagine how those rombongan and sedara mara felt having to be pushed behind...tengok bontot reporters aje..

The thing is that the reporters actually using those camera which can zoom in and out --with all sort of gadjets --so why do they need to stand right behind the kadi? Should have done the akad in an open field ha..ha..ha..And one more thing about the reporter, I dont know if they really do their homework before claiming that Ann is going for the harta--do they really know if Sumali really berharta--hope they have some basis and facts--not just assuming--that wont do justice to their responsibility as a reporter--tak pe lah but Ann told me Sumali makes her laugh and she feels happy being around him...I think that is a right basis for a start for Ann to accepting Sumali into her life.... 

Ok this was during the akad nikah.. I just squeezed myself to that little corner and tarik along with me the other ladies...selamat akak!

and  the akad was pronounced just once....alhamdulillah!
And it was so fast and kelam kabut with the reporters and all, I didnt get the chance to feel the ceremony...ha..ha..so no tears...bagus kan...Ann actually had warned me earlier... "kak long jangan nangis2 nanti kang"...so ok no tears whatsoever--just happy faces :)

Next day is the reception at Sumali's resident. As the wedding took place in Johor , we have so many sedara mara from segenap pelosok of Johor attending. After a long long time, it was great to get the chance to mingle with the sedara mara...especially those from my dad's side..took the opportunity to introduce my boys and so on.

I am happy for my sister...we all do..my mom told me lega sangat dia that my sister is now married again... I always think marriage is not an easy thing....loads and loads of compromise need to be made along the way...patience is something we have to hold on...we need Love and we need belas kasihan dalam perkahwinan...and of course we need Respect....
It is no more about "ME" but all is about "US"...I wish them well dalam melayari bahtera perkahwinan ini...there will be a lot of dugaan for the first 3-5 years I would say...just stick together!

Some says it would be easier having a much older husband as they tend to be more patience and tolerance--so I hope Ann will get that  from Sumali....sebab adik kak long ni degil sikit wahhahahahaha!!!Kalau bibir dia tipis sangat tarik aje lah telinga dia ....he..he..
