After lunch, Fid and I decided to walk towards the Monument Alaf Baru while Zamreen went into the Floria indoor deco. We have never been to the monument before. It is a beautiful monument located at the waterfront.
We stopped at one of the landscape to take photo with the "fish bridge" as the background. Not far from the monument, they have a small station for cruise boat, dondang sampan, water ball and paddling boat.
That is the water ball. Rm20 for 20 minutes for 2 person. Ej wanted to go into the ball but I did not appoved. It didn't look interesting because I didn't see the ball move when few people went into it. They were just sitting and laughing until the time was up.
See...I told you so.

We wanted to ride the dondang sampan and called Zamreen to join us. While waiting for Zamreen to reach the station, I let Ej ride this unique bicycle. It costs Rm5 for 15 minutes. I tried riding on the adult bicycle but it was not easy to change the gear. The ride was not fun at all. I could not get myself to cycle up at sloppy area. So I passed.
Ej enjoying her bike ride. For kid's bicycle, there was no gear. So it was quite easy for her to ride it. It took her a while to get familiar with the brake and handles.
While waiting for our turn to ride the Dondang sampan, photo session with "Masjid Besi" as the background. Don't ask me...about the "senget" style and sunglasses on the head? Definitely not one of Tyra Bank's tips. Runnnnnnn
This is how the Dondang Boat looks like. RM10 for adult and Rm6 for kid.
Time to ride the sampan and enjoying the scenery. When everyone was seated in the sampan and it was about to start moving, it went a bit shaky to the right and Fid was automatically panic. Mumbling to my ear that it could be overloaded and we all should have not cramped into 1 sampan. Actually that was normal. Once it started moving with a constant speed the sampan would be stabled.
Was her smiling or freak out?
Not enough seat for 8 of us. So Zam had to sit in front on a small bench. Actually, it was a nice spot for a photographer since there was no roof top that could blocked him when Zam wanted to snap photos.
Mr photographer looking around for a nice spot. See the roof top as obstacles in all of my photos.
Pasangan Remaja...dating at the behind seat. Feeling feeling honeymoon in Venice on a gondola.
Pasangan remaja again...he he he.
and again...vomit already?

Reen sat in the middle with Hafiy and Alif.
That is the cruise boat. RM 15 for adult and RM10 for kid. I did not know that the passengers can go out and stand at the viewing deck. I thought we can only enjoy the scenery from the seat. That was the reason for us choosing the Dondang sampan instead of the cruise boat.
Now let's enjoy the scenery photos around the lake.

After the ride, Alif, Adam and Misha played the unique bicycle before we went to "makan langsat" while trying to find the food court near Taman Warisan Pertanian. We went to precint 6 instead of precint 16 and the gps guided Zamreen to Taman Wawasan instead of Taman Pertanian. By the time Zamreen reached the food court, Fid and I were happily enjoying the best roti john in town. 2 years ago, my fren and I queued for 45 minutes just to buy this roti john during fasting month. Silly but it was all worth it. See the photo below...yummy yummy.
Ok...tu je nak cerita.
