FLORIA 2010

Three of us went back to Banting earlier today since our last visit few months back. The town looked the same except for the Post Office which was totally burnt down. When we reached the town, most of the shops were still closed or might not open since today is Sunday. Looking at some of the regular shops that we used to shop in, was heart breaking for me. Frame of memories came flashed at the back of my mind.

We were there for a couple of hours before we headed to Putrajaya to join millions of others to witness FLORIA 2010. We planned to visit the Floria with Zamreen but we reached there too early. So we went in first and Zamreen joined us later.

The weather was damn hot and there were so many people but that didn't stop us for photo session.

The landscapes were very colourful.

I forgot the name of the flower above which was extensively used in almost all of the landscapes in the Floria.

Generally we found Floria 2010 was not as good as compared to Pesta Flora 2008. There were too many repetitions in terms of type of flowers used in the landscape deco. In fact, I could not find even a single Rose anywhere. Nevertheless, it was still worth it to visit Floria 2010 and don't forget to bring your DSLR. EJ snap almost 200 of photos but most were blur. No complaint because she used her sony handphone...ha ha ha. Layannn.
