tak sangka ...2 weeks on ....

I know aku kata takde posting Bangkok lagi kan ...but I cannot resist ....less than a week after aku balik ari tu, ada berlaku satu letupan kecil kat one of the bus stop kat its central business district ....and, it is actually in one of the place yang aku visit ....

menurut reports from Bangkok Post, bust stop tu kat depan Big C Mall - the building on the left in the above photo ....aku n elena pi Isetan (opposite Big C) jer masa tu coz Big C nie masih ditutup - it is one of the building yang dibakar masa mass protest bulan May lepas ...so it is a bit scary jugak biler baca pasal nie coz not so long ago we were at that place!

Pastu today, aku baca plak at the early hours of this morning, ada satu lagi letupan kecil ...bom dalam tong sampah ...kat rumah opposite a duty free mall at Soi Rangnam (Soi = Jalan) ...hotel yang aku dok dulu tu is at Soi Rangnam, and the only duty free mall kat situ is King Power Complex ...and sebelah betul2 ngan hotel aku tu ....scary siotttt ...hotel and mall tu is owned by same group ...

and to think less than two weeks ago, aku ngan Elena jalan2 kat area nie memalam buta ....posing sana sini tak fikir apa2 pun!

Tak sangka, two weeks ago while in Bangkok I felt completely secure ...sebab nak masuk hotel pun siap ada check - with that bom detector thingy ....but now, I do not think Bangkok is a safe place ...sayang sekali, it has so much to offer but this violence acts akan menjejaskan sektor pelancongan and ekonomi Thailand ....
