Cronut Craze

ever heard of cronut? kalau tak pernah, read here (click on link) cronut nie merupakan pastry type yang combinekan the texture of croissant ngan shape of a doughnut ..hence the name, cronut ....aku dengar about this cronut craze in New York early this year ke very late last year ..kata nya queue awal pagi sampai 4-5 jam sebab nak beli cronut ..and kedai tu by 10 ajer dah abis stock cronut ..aku nak le kan tau camne rasa cronut tu ....and a couple of months (or was it masa aku balik from Mysia) yang aku ada baca cronut dah sampai Welly ...but tak ingat nama tempat ..till last weekend ...kan aku gi brunch with the girls kat Brooklyn Cafe coz someone ngidam cheese scone ...and kuar cafe tu baru aku noticed ada sign kata they sell cronut!!!!! so cecepat tell the girls we have to try it ...and semua kaki makan kan ..so we decided to have another brunch there this weekend ...sepatutnya today, tapi diawalkan ke semalam (saturday)

and tengok rupa memang cam donut ...sekali pandang cam ..takde lah yang special nya kannnnnn

masa gi tu da dua flavour ...this cream ones and one choc topped ....aku choose cream nie, maybe next time try yang chocolate tu pulak

hahaha harus ada muka aku ...pencarian cronut telah berakhir hehehehe ....ignore the sembab face ...bangun tido kol 10, by 10.30 dah kena kuar rumah ...tu kira combo muka teruja and muka lapar :-)

my verdict: akak sangat suka!!!! menyesal tak tapau semalam ....sebab selain makan cronut, aku order mediterranean omelette ....so kira kekenyangan yang amat ...pstu bila teringat balik, baru menyesal tak tapau ....and a friend of anita bagitau, selain Brooklyn Cafe nie, Bordeux minivan or food cart of whatever it is called ...ada gak jual cronut ...masa sunday market (kat belakang Te Papa) ....ooo and that reminds me, aku belum try lagi Chimney Cake!!! watch this space for chimney cake folks!
