Rumah baru ku

alooo bersiaran dari rumah baru ku ...hahaha jangan jump to conclusion yea...bukan rumah beli ...but my new rumah sewa ...maklumlah hidup seorang student ..tak mampu beli rumah kat sini ..bayaran sewa sebulan kat sini for a room pun sama cam aku bayar my whole house kat Mal

well, i did not expect to move pun ...aku apply to stay on at my previous flat sebab of its convenience ... memang sekangkang gajah jer from my office ...5 minit naik tangga and kalau balik tu 3 minit jer ..sebab turun laju ...but ditakdirkan tak lama dok situ ...just a year and two weeks gitu  ....so to cut story short, I am now at another uni accommodation ...but this time round, it is not a flat but a proper house gitu ....sewa and everything sama ...but only a fair bit further than my last place ..yang nie between 5-8 mins walk to my office ..i..e memang jalan lenggang kangkung gaya nak santai punya jalan ..but no hill whatsoever ....

ini dia rupa rumah aku la nie ...it is not a flat but a house ..a proper house ...rumah kat NZ nie typically rumah kayu ...yang quake friendly ....but yang baru2 tu ada yang batu kan ..but most memang dah comes with quake strenthening measures ....rumah aku nie satu tingkat ...a 3-bedroom house, with lounge area, kitchen and dining ...and one bathroom ..oo and a laundry room attached to the house jugak ....not bad ..and ada laman yang menarik

rumah kat belakang tu rumah jiran ..i met dia and his family the day I moved in ...baik orang nya ...siap tolong aku ngan kak shidah angkut barang kat shidah from the car ...and even pesan kalau ada apa2 just knock on their door ..bini dia pun peramah ...dia kerja kat uni jugak ...as the hall manager ...but hall yang undergrad duduk kat town area ,,,

nie pagar masuk utama (nampak sipi tu - sebab focus pada roses)..so sempoi kan ..kalau kat Mysia..pagar besi lah ..pagar auto lah ..here pagar kayu jer ....by the way ..the laman and the flowers are maintained by uni kata jiran aku tu ...so nice ..siap ada rosemary bushes ...and lemon tree lagi .....

our very own lemon tree ...yeay!!!!! so jakun kan hahahaha ...

and my room pun spacious ...lot bigger than my old room at Waiteata ...and feel more like a bilik ....i mean a bilik yang bukan rumah student ...and aku ingatkan semua room same size le ..rupanya tidak ...the one yang the German girl tu duduk at the moment is actually half the size of my room ...

the room ie damp sket ...that's why dehumidifier was provided ...unlike rumah2 kat UK yand berdouble glazing etc tu kan ...kat sini takde nyer double glazing ...kalau winter mmg sejuk ..and damp ....so the dehumidifier helps to suck the moisture from the air ...kata nya ....p/s masa nie separa pindah ...so bilik sepah lagi

lots of storage space ...ooo masa pindah tu, aku malas nak angkut barang in boxes ..so aku beli that china bag banyak2 ....and put my stuffs there ...senang nak angkat hahaha ... i got 5 extra large china bags ...sumbat duvet, pillow ..baju semua ....only barang dapur and kasut jer masuk dlm kotak :-)

furniture just the basic ones ...but i am ok with that ...coz i think i got all i need ...laundry facilities ada...dishwasher pon ada ....internet access ada ...

all I have to do now is unpacking ....aiyoo ...malas sangat nak unpack ..knowing that in less than two month i will be packing again ....
