LOL

With technology we dont anymore send letters..we use emails...i wonder how does this affect the "posto"...if only we really need to send something we will "courier", definitely the item is official document or if parcel that being couriered, it is just necessary for it to reach the destination in a blink....as the technology enhances emails is just not fast enough and may not reach the recipient on time thus we text messages - "ym" and "sms"...

I dont know about other 30-sth, but I am ok with this.....but my problem is on the abbreviations that people are using these days.....i am so behind on those as i prefer to "call" than texting...i learn quite a bit from my adik ipar Ms Shabell... she's good.. and from my dear Along- Mat Afi...

Today i read an article in Yahoo about this overwhelming phenomenon..the experts are predicting the usage of all sort of abbreviations will stay for a long long time...it will become like a culture...and in the US, "parents" are considered "cool" to understand and use them...if this reach Malaysia then I will be among the not-so cool-mummy:(

The writer shared a story when interpretation when wrong...it goes like this "dear xx, I am sorry that your dad has passed away..bla bla bla LOL, call me if u need to talk"...LOL was misinterpret as Lots Of Love....know what ironically I thought the same thing as well ...pecah rahsia kan....until one day i asked Afi what is LOL..and he brought me to the light..it's "Laugh Out Loud" mummy.....thank god I didnt be a smart ass and use the term before consulting Afi....kah..kah..kah..ni baru betul LOL!..kalau tak that example given by the writer could be me...malu setahun....setahun je lah...kalau tak pun sebulan...kah..kah..kah....

Now let's change topic to FOOD
....nak lawan Fend....last week for the first time we tried Laksa Shack..it was Angah's idea...Angah is not really into nasi if we have noodles for our saturday eat-out, it is always Angah's suggestion...We are supposed to try Sushi King but Duan had lunch with budak budak dia so we postponed Sushi to tomorrow.....




Along not wanting me to take his picture...eating Roti Jala...2 serving...yes..with tea

Angah ..had Laksa Tomyam..he said it is better than Tom Yam Kong at Secret Recipe...but I think otherwise....he's a coffee drinker...

Myself....tak lain tak bukan...cuba teka kite makan ape....pandai...laksa johor...clap...clap..clap....sharing with Mr Mat Dib...drink..coffee lah....

laksa johor is ok..tapi like missing sth lah...sth lah...laki aku kot..kah..kah..kah..LOL..buat gila malam hari.....
