Bukan Bidadari-Umi and Fahrin

Did anybody watched last saturday cerekarama "Bukan Bidadari"? I dont really watch cerekarama but somehow last saturday, i was too fulled that i didnt bother to browse the channels so i just watched what others' (was in Pekan) had chosen. I just want to share my thoughts about the movie.

First of all, it did raise my interest seeing that Umi is one of the main cast..but the spoiler is the hero playing beside her, Fahrin. He played the husband for Umi. Umi is undoubtedly one among a few talented actresses that we have in Msia. I just cant stand watching Fahrin , I think he failed to carry his role well and is not compatible to be in line with Umi. One thing for sure,he looks too young for the role and he needs to brush up his acting skill...

The story line is actually quite ok...it's a story of a husband who commits adultery secara terangan...but at the same time requesting her wife (a graduate who was forced- i think- to give up her carrer and being a homemaker) to be bluntly obedient to him as he is the "khalifa", forced her to wear hijab and to be accepting to his bad behaviour. Thank god, i think what they did right (i.e. the production) is to show the wife retaliated.
There is a scene when Umi went to meet the mistress- i hate that scene because the mistress was so damned kurang hajar- perhaps that scene did show a real situation but i think it is so unfair to show Umi just swallowed the girl's words/statements without a blink...the thing is Umi is a graduate also but she just watched the mistress spoke with her slang...gosh..!
Then.. i think half way through they divorced. ...i tried hard to really follow the story but my eyes kept failing me.

Umi later remarried, migrated to the UK (their version of UK in Cameron Highland , I think) but lost her faith for a while until towards the end, she just came back to her senses, left the new hubby and back to Msia, visited her ex and kids- the ex requested another chance, admitted his mistakes and what not but she turned him down...the end..Th ending was not so bad...i was hoping that Umie had guts to say no and not nodding to the request

Ironic nya, on sunday nite there was another movie with fahrin and umi played hubby and wife again....I watched a few scenes towards the ending ...again the incompatiblity is way too obvious - umie is just too matured (not old lah coz the lead role is supposed to 30 sth-so Umie is ok), but Fahrin- he can actually pass for a younger brother to umie not husband...cant the production see that....and even worse fahrin thru out the scenes i watched kept having his sunglasses on his head...the longer i watch the more criticism that i can came out with so i turned the channel...kang kurang pahala aku pose....he
