Open houses...

Since raya, tak menang tangan attending open houses....so I chose those "open house" yg slightly different from the normal one to share with u guys...

The first one---open house paling jauh we have ever attended...in Kemaman...my first time in Kemaman...it takes about 45 minutes to1 hour driving from Kuantan. Approaching Kemaman banyak sgt kedai kopok lekor but to bad i missed the pictures lah....:(((

way back to Kuantan...akak rembat kopok lekor and kopok keping...sedap ba!!!!!!!!!!

Then for dinner , another open house at Duan's PA's parents. Wow....this one is totally different and one of its kind...They said it's a JAwa style of jamuan makan. Frankly I have never attended such a jamuan before ...as far as I can remember, back then when my atok was still around...we have nasi ambeng for kenduri...and when i was a teenager - it was my duty to bring sedulang sedulang to the neighbours....suka sangat aku buat kerja tu...sambil batting my eye lashes kah..kah..kah...

There must be a different clan of jawa kan...tak kan semua sama ajer...kan?

Ok back to the open house, we were told that the jamuan was actually co-organised with some uncle and aunties. Each family had a stall serving different kind of food ....some of the dishes are mee/kuey teow kawah, lontong, soto, all the diffferent type of nasi -nasi minyak , nasi dagang, nasi lemak...ice cream dan entah apa lagi tak mampu lah nak jelajah se --se...(org Pahang cakap satu -satu is se-se : ni nak cite kat Ejin yg lain mungkin dah tahu)....

sejibik macam pasar malam ...macam macam ada...and this is really a jamuan makan.....does not suit majlis ramah tamah as per Ejin's definition of Open House.

Orang ramai sangat ....but we managed to find a place for us di tepi tangga...main redah ajer...

To our dear friends yg menjemput ...terima kasih daun keladi ...to those yg we missed secara tak sengaja...SORRY, next year pulak ok!
