Sebelum abang ngah bombarded the blog with gambar2 percutian mega dorang, I want to put in this recipe first ....a simple but absolutely yumm tun and sweetcorn pie ...in fact I am having it now as my dinner ...teringat zaman2 study di UK dulu ...angela's mom suka buat but aku tak pernah nak buat sendiri coz easily available

lama sebenarnya teringin nak makan tuna and sweetcorn pie ...but tak tau nak buat hahahaha ...pelik tu, kat UK bukan main popular lgi combination of sweetcorn and tuna ...as sandwich filling ...or as baked potato filling ...sini, takde!!!! just tuna sandwich gitu2 ajer .....but last Monday, my opismate bawakkan pies for my breakfast and lunch ...dia buatkan tuna pie and also salmon quiche ...aku melantak le kannnn hahaha so i tanya how to make it ...easy peasy lemon squeezy rupanya ...
separuh aku dah ngap, baru ingat nak ambik gambar hahahaha ...one is with crust, and cheezy tuna filling ...the one yang square shape is actually salmon pie ...dua dua yumm!
Ingat nak buat last weekend ...tapi sebab aku tak makan kat rumah ..sebab asyik kuar dinner out maka tak masak ....so today, sebab I came back at 7pm ...which is early by my standard, ada masa masak ...and just made it ...so easy ....
let's see ...all you need are (i) potatoes - i used 4 big ones ...yang ala ala baked potatoes punya size; (ii) 5-6 eggs; (iii) 300g tuna - aku guna dua tin; (iv) jagung tin - half ajer; (v) spices and herbs yang korang suka ...i put coriander tadi...but usually kat UK dorang guna parsley :-)
first step ...rebus potatoes ....and mashed it ....
mix tuna with eggs, and season with salt and pepper ...and chopped corriander leaves
then mix kan the egg mixture ke dalam potato mixture ...and tuang dalam bekas yang disapu mentega ...penting tau sapu mentega tu ..kalau tak lekat ...like mine did! hahaha ingat tak penting, so i skip the mentega tadi hahahaha ....and bakar in preheated oven, at 180 degree selama 40-45 minit depending ngan korang punya size bekas and temp oven ....
walllaaaaa ...senang kannnnn ...
alternatively, macam my opismate buat, can use fresh salmon ....step semua sama ...just you have to fry salmon in non-stick pan ..tanpa minyak ...bila dah masak, flake kan isi salmon ....and so like above...kalau salmon, better use parsley ...and jangan guna jagung ...just salmon and the other mixture ....

Senangnya...tapi banyaknya guna telur. Hanyir tak kalau telur banyak banyak?
Belum pernah try lagi pie macam ni. Selalu yang ada base tu.
yelah 5-6 eggs....banyak nya sgt...sedap lah...aku dah lama makan mandom aje asik sebok ke kedai..lama laki aku tak masak
actually kalau quich mmg guna banyak telur ...coz it is the item yang bind the ingredient together ...can kurangkan telur, bur replace with cheese and cream mixture (kata tuan punya resipi)
