My RAYA HAJI/KORBAN/AIDIL ADHA break

Here we go ...hari raya lagi and another family gathering...that is the best part of hari raya! I bet by now you guys should know my hari raya routine...yes, malam raya in Pekan...petang raya for tea , i called up everyone for "high tea" to celebrate Afi and Mukriz's(Duan's cousin) achievement in UPSR.

There was no activity on the nite before raya--just television, chatting and gossiping around....as everything was pre ordered except for kuah laksa pahang which was cooked by 3bibiks following the Master chef instructions--my dearest mother in law herself!

As always, we have food penuh on 2 dining tables...from satay, ketupat, rendang, ayam kampung, laksa asam to laksa pahang and of course nasi dagang... ...it satisfies every single"belly" in the family as some may like certain food over the other...my fave is laksa pahang..cedap cangat!

Our theme for this raya haji was green but there is no picture of us except for few pics of Adib..so i share one of those here By noon we made our way to KL...and another table full of food..and here in KL it is more like Thanksgiving than hari raya...except for my dear sis - Mak Usu, others were not wearing the baju kurung/baju melayu...that includes us---senang nak travel ma!!!!!!!!!!!...well the baju kurung is a Malay tradition which has nothing to do with the raya anyway! Ampun!

Later that nite after a brief shopping spree at Suria KLCC, we brought the boys for the BEN10 on stage at KL convention centre,...the boys enjoyed it..as for me-- i dozed off during the second act!

This while waiting for the show to start after tawaf Suria KLCC---exhausted!

Second day-another round of shopping....the christmas deco are all up...cantik and debomb! Since we are from Kuantan --can consider ourselves as tourists right???? So that's how this pic came about ....Gitu!

After Pavillion, we walked to one Arab restaurant serving moroccan or turkish...whatever...awesome delicacies..sorry no pics of the food just US..he..he...Then attended an open house invitation at my sis-Ann's brother in law house. i am just not as TEGAR to take pictures at other peoples' place ..so asking the kids to strike a pose!

Same evening, we celebrated Ann's son,Warit's birthday at Ann's place--another cake session for tea....I feel like banning Secret Recipe already...with all that cheese, a slice is just not enough! God help us!..Too bad Ann and Wafi are not able to join us as they were in jakarta for a motorsport tournament, so we sent them an mms- my mom said served as a proof that we dont forget her son's birthday!he..he..he..
Creative tak kepala aku tuh kah..kah..kah...merosak kan gambar sungguh!

That nite on way back to Riana Green , we visited The Curve ..had coffee(+tea - for my dear hubbylah) and lite meal at Starbuck --that was our dinner...we were seriously sooo full with many rounds of food during the day...tight betul!

Next day 2 hours spent in the pool...then to few furniture shops and Ikea finding some stuff for the condo -- my cousin has moved out of course together with all his furniture ..so have no choice but to have the basics like bed, sofa etc...managed to get a bed...others to be continued during our next trip !

Heading back to Kuantan, dropped by at my brother's place -Bell&Sha's--they have just came back from Kedah the nite before....after lunch brought us to view their new house...it's a 3 storey guarded house--nice but you have to take a breather at each level before moving up to another....we are not so young lah at 30 sth ....he..he..he..

So that is the end of my Raya Korban break....till the next posting...ADIOS!
