At 142 Days = 20 weeks ++

Hi guys...i am halfway through my pregnancy...dah 5 months...Tinggal 4 bulan 10 hari kan?

I have been sicked for the past one week...started with coughing...i tell you it was not easy having to cough endlessly when you are pregnant, with baby slighly above your bladder...faham ajelah...it was stressful!! I first went to see a physician, after being advised by my gynae...check sana sini...ada hissing in my lung ...but due to pregnancy, no antibiotic, no ubat batuk just mild medication like nose spray, throat spray and gasvicon ??...entah apa...the doctor told me in 2 weeks time if the cough does not subside, i am up for an appointment with an ENT specialist...

Then about a day or so, i started to have sore throat..headache...green phlegm...and my coughing worsening every minutes esp at nite...my "personal doctor" has been very patience taking care of me...thank you boyfriend:) ..

Monday went to work, atuk lagi kong kang kong kang and i thought i cant wait for another 2 weeks so i decided to meet the ENT that afternoon....ENT put in camera inside my nostril...a few red patches around my nostril or perhaps throat...satu laluan ajer kan...so she prescribed me with an antibiotic which i cant consume for another 1 week and another nostril spray....This 2 specialists costs me $500 bucks...god bless!

I went to check my belly with my gynae as well sebab the heavy coughs had caused muscle stress at the lower part of my abdoment...so just checking my little one if he's ok...and yes, he's doing fine..Doctor said, coughing does mengugat "ketenteraman awam" the little one but, he's living in water so wont affect him in a bad way....amazing ciptaan Allah!

And once again and this round a little clearer for me at least....that little DICkory hickory dock...Still the gynae reluctant to confim, he said wait for another 4 weeks....oklah....I am ok with a boy...Abang Duan lagi ok rasanya, right Dut?

That nite...i was feeling very uneasy...headache and all...then at about 4am, i was up with severe headache and my phlegm was mixed with blood...tried to just ignore, swallowed the pain....and continued to coughing with more reddish phlegm came out...and at about 6 or so right side of my face had swollen like sikit lagi macam "beguk"....from kepala sampai leher...

This was when I rushed to the emergency ward...the attending MO was the one i met when i had my spotting...told her abt my 2 earlier visits and asked her to read the other 2 specialist review abt my diagnosis. I called my gynae, whom then talked to the MO---they then prescribed me with antibiotic, cough syrup--10ml per day-budak kecik pun takes more than that kan?, paracetamol --the only allowable pain killer for preggo--sedih ke tidak? at 30 something, urat dah tebal--we need real painkiller-hardcore punya, paracetamol is like cortal masa kecik dulu kan?---and lastly sucking tablets for throat and told me to stop taking the earlier medicine....I was supposed to be warded but there was no vacant bed...can u imagine???? but it was a blessing jugak because there's no point staying in the hospital pun...it was not like they have to jab me every other minute or something..

I got 2 days MC....memang "beradu" ajer...my boys and my man have been attending to me with compassion...tima kasih banyak2...felt very much appreciated and loved, tu yg buat baik more than the antibiotic...aisey ...fendi kata ayat boleh belah....

By the way, that new prescriptions costs me 100++ sahaja and they cured me after 5 days...so i am very much healthier now...still coughing ...mildly...esp. in the office today...but no more sore throat and no more headache! Alhamdulillah...
