Another Sunday's Lunch

Tuan tuan dan puan puan , akak is back again with my sunday lunch. Due to some changes to our weekend normal routine, we went to the market on saturday and for some reason there were not that many fish - duan told me, for i as usual go to the dry side buying the vege...frankly i am a failure in buying fish........if Duan is away for the weekend, I will either go to Tunas Manja ( a world famous local supermarket) or a small kedai runcit nearby, or depending to my mood I will still visit the Kuantan wet market and straight to one stall where we are regular with...for 1kg of tenggiri/ikan merah, 1kg of kerisi/kembung and 1 kg of squids...then to another stall for one and a half chicken.....NO.. i dont do that flipping , checking for red eyes (or not so red )and pressing the badan ikan...told you i am a failure in fish hunting....in the market...

Ok back to my agenda ...oh my god I actually starting off to tell that there was a change in our weekend routine and there were not many fish on saturday , so we ended up exploring the Pasar Tani on sunday....and we went home with ikan patin, keli...and we were late for ayam kampung so we skipped ayam kampung for this round..

Here we go ikan patin tempoyak...ikan patin+tempoyak preferably yg lama (lebih masam)+daun kesom+bwg merah+...i think no garlic is needed...chef pulak tak de nak tanya..we cant find daun kunyit so ...short by one ingredient + garam secukup rasa...+ asam keping but take it out after boiled...kalau tak masam giler akak tak tanggung.... This is everyone's favourite..yupps including me...mak aku kata entah ape dah jadi dgn lidah aku ni...
green for the week....where's the green???...vege for the wk, taugeh+tahu+tempe+goreng with bwg merah+putih+ikan bilis + lada....my old time favourite..and afi's...duan always tells the boys that they have to eat the tempe bcoz they are all jawa.....my blood in them carries that gene......tak pe.. proud to be one.. jawa+johor...ape lagi nak cari kah..kah..kah...

kerisi goreng berlada...from bibik...recycle from friday...gosh!!! masih suci dan menyucikan ok..

And what else from Pasar Tani.??..of course local fruits...papaya- Angah's favourite and guava - my fave...
