At 6 weeks

When carrying Afi, i was in the UK -- during that time, with sengkek and all we didnt own a personal computer so my references are magazines, books, brochures...all sort of reading material lah...i actually brought home (to msia) like a box full with pregnancy readings...mmg ikut buku punya and akak memang pantang betul ...like no soda drink, reduce caffein in take..no peanuts...fish for omega ( kena skip this for this first trimester though:)..flat shoes...maternity bra....segala bagai lah...memang betul2 ikut buku.
And i had this one magazine that i love most which published the weekly growth of your feotus/baby--i love doing this~~~following the weekly progress...ironically, i lost it quite sometime ago...think i passed it to my sis in law...

This is another busy week for your baby. Your baby now has a head and trunk. A groove (known as the laryngotracheal groove) forms and will become the larynx or voice box while the beginnings of the mouth and digestive system are evident as well. The inner ear and blood circulation are also apparent and your baby is beginning to develop facial features as indentations form that will become the eyes, ears and mouth. Your baby's brain is developing and activity can actually be monitored on an electroencephalogram (EEG). Also developing are the limb buds that will develop into the arms and legs. Your baby's heartbeat is visible on ultrasound as the heart is bulging from the body. The length of your baby is about 4 - 6 mm or 0.15 - 0.24 inches.

As your hormone levels rise, you may see your nausea, vomiting and headaches get worse this week. While it is called "morning sickness", you may experience it at night or even in the middle of the day. There will be many changes in your body, but this week the changes are most apparent in your breasts. These breast changes may include increased breast tenderness, a tingling sensation, a darkening of the areola (the dark nipple part of your breast) and they may feel heavier then normal.

I am feeling all that ...fatique, nausea...but unlike the boys, i dont have morning sickness so far--so tak de taht yellowish muntah yg pahit tu....Vomitted twice so far, sekali after dinnera nd yesterday evening...the vomitting pain tu still sama tapi tak de lah yellowish muntah tu....sekarang ni kurang selera makan...tension ajer tengok food kat canteen ni....rasa macam nak vomit!!

as for the breast tu ..i cant remember that the sensation tu rasa this early ...tapi it's written in the web tu so tak pelik lah kan....There's so many things i.e. the symptoms actually, i cant remember to be experiencing them this early--the truth is I think, it has been 7 years since my last pregnancy mana lah nak ingat sangat.....not really for being 30 something...sakit beranak pun dah luper wahahahaha.....amazing kan....masa dok push push tu , you swear taht you wont let yourself go through that pain again ...but we can actually just forget the moment you hold the baby.....it is all worth it and more...but still take me 3 to 4 and finally 7 years ...:)
