short break with the Blackhalls

Nie baru cerita latest ...last sunday aku pi melaka buat kali ke-2 tahun nie .....utk jumpa my foster parents! last sekali jumpa diorang was 2005 - tahun aku balik ke malaysia ....plan nyer diorang nak ajak aku holiday ngan diorang sampai Spore tapi sebab aku kan sibuk sangat, aku cuma sempat ke Melaka ajer ...FYI diorang nie on a 7-week holiday ...melarikan diri dari English winter LOL ...kiter nak sangat tengok snow, depa pi lari sebab tak nak sejuk! pas gi melaka, they are going to Spore, Australia, NZ and back to Australia sebelum balik UK ....best kan!

I first met them in 1994 ....he was my lecturer ...tapi outside of classroom mmg baik sangat....aku practically lepak rumah diorang every other weekend ...especially the second time aku kat UK (2000-2005) ...dah mcm keluarga sendiri...that's why biler dorang kata nak sangat jumpa aku, i make it a point utk datang all the way here to see them ...and i am glad i did coz we had had a great time! anyway, we met up on Sunday ....and aku balik sini last tuesday ..bukan buat apa sangat pun, cuma round2 melaka, shopping2...makan2 ..and sembang2 ...just to catch up with each other ...

nie petang aku sampai ...lepak coffee house sampai senja ....diorang kan suka panas ...bukan nak duduk dalam airconditioned space!

one of our lunches ....again, dok kat luar ...i think, kalau tak silap, kol 1 tengahari masa nie ...mak aiii punya lah panas nyer but they persuaded me to sit outside nak tengok view sungai and basking in the sun ...see, aku dah tak mampu senyum masa tu!

Ini lah my bapak angkat ...and ex-lecturer aku ....very much influenced the way i look at planning issues ...dia nie dah lama retired from uni tapi still very much active in his own consultancy work ....dia nie dah 78 years old tapi sihat ajer ...dia yang komplen kata aku nie tak bertenaga sebab biler jalan ajer mudah letih!
