Merlion Park - a must visit to Singapore

Orang selalu kata, kalau gi Singapore tapi tak visit Merlion Park tu umpama gi UK tapi tak jejak kaki kat London ....or gi London tapi tak gi Buckingham Palace ..or gi Rome tak jenguk the Collessuem ...ada faham??? so, it is a must visit when you are in Singapore ...ok tak mukadimah nya?

aku join bus hop on hop off, so senang le nak gi sini ...yang aku tak tau tu, the bus stop for Merlion Park tu depan Bank of America, betol betol in front of Fullerton Bay Hotel (jgn confius ngan Fullerton Hotel plak ok) so agak jauh le menapak ....dalam panas terik plak tu ok ..tapi nak jumpa si Merlion punya pasal, ku gagahi jua .....

takleh nak avoid this imposing structure ...dari mana2 angle boleh nampak Marina Bay Sands ini :-)

Fullerton tu sempena nama first Gabenor Negeri2 Selat yakni Robert Fullerton time2 hotel ni dibina dulu kata nya ...was transformed into a worldclass hotel in 1998 ..before tu it was General Post Office, pejabat2 kerajaan, Singapore Club etc ....now jadi hotel mahal :-)  this view was taken from the Merlion ...

sedikit fakta sejarah: This Merlion - half lion and half fish was sculpted in 1972 hehehehe ...kira dah 40 tahun umur dia :-)

tak tau building apa, but aku lepak kat shaded area kat sini sementara nak ambik napas setelah letih menapak ...kat belakang Fullerton Bay Hotel ...masa nie ramai le mat salleh lepak here having their lunch in the park ...from nearby offices kot

Since aku menapak dalam cuaca yang panas terik sampai ke tulang, aku tak ikut le plan aku yang kunun tak nak ais ....dandan gi beli orange juice kat situ ..6 Sing Dollar ok ....tu yang biler aku gi Bugis Street beli air tebu aku tekejut biler harga nya hanya 1 Sing Dollar hahahaha ....
