Sawadee Kap ....first day in Bangkok

Sawadee Kap, I am backkkkkk from my short trip to wonderful Thailand ...Penat masih belum hilang tapi Abang Ngah kiter dah remind supaya buat posting ....jadi ku gagahkan juga utk buat posting nie...

Well, plan asal pi bertiga but last minute Haslina cancel ...so, aku pi berdua jer ngan Elena ...flight last friday awal pagi from Kuching and our connecting flight kol 1 lebih from LCCT ...sampai Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok kol 2 lebih waktu sana (kat sana lambat sejam from Malaysia) ...sampai2 tu, as usual posing2 dulu k ....org ramai ....tapi queue kat Immigration takle lama sangat ...sebab banyak counters kat airport nie.

Airport dia nie contemporary design ....cantik jugak ...but somehow remind me of that thing tempat org tanam strawberry kat Cameron Highland! Cam terowong! hehehehe

sampai kat saja jer aku mengelepar kelaparan....Elena terus bawak aku pi kedai, makan tuna sandwich (rasa cam kat UK plak!) ...then terus tunggu taxi....taxi nyer warna warni you! bright pink, neon green, deep blue semua ada ...very the ceria ....kami naik yang kaler green ...takde gambar plak dalam kamera aku!

dalam taxi pun posing jugak .....she can speaks a bit of thai ...so senang sket aku jalan2 ngan amoi nie ...from the airport to our hotel tu 45 minit cam tu ajer ...and itu pun jam sket ....and it cost us dalam RM40 ...

sampai hotel dalam kol 4 lebih camtu ....we stayed at Pullman Bangkok King Power @ Rangnam Road (or in Thai, Soi Rangnam) ...hotel best giler! nanti aku buat separate posting about hotel plak ....i really love this hotel!

then pas kemas, mandi2 we all pun keluar ...naik tuk-tuk yang provided by hotel to Victory Monument (nearest BTS train station) ...took the train to Siam Center ...and mula lah aktiviti shopping tak hengat dunia ...kat this area you got a number of shopping malls ...Siam Paragon (kak long's kind of place!), Siam Discovery, Siam Centre and across the street you got MBK Center (short for Mah Boon Krong) ...

MBK nie, according to my map, is one of the biggest shopping mall in Bangkok ...8 stories high with over 2000 outlets ...but aku shop mostly kat Tokyu dept store .... and Tokyu nie accept credit card ...memudahkan urusan. Some of the small outlets terima cash sahaja yea ...

That first day mmg kami spent masa kat sini ajer ....itu pun tak puas ..sebab sampai dah lambat and kedai plak by 9 and 10 gitu dah tutup ....we took a taxi back - and it costs us RM6 ajer (kira dalam 60 Baht) ...senang sebab taxi banyak ...maybe sebab tourists tak ramai. Sebab according to Elena, dia pernah tunggu lama kat sini dulu sebab the queue terlalu panjang ....according to taxi driver pun, the number of tourists dah banyak berkurangan ...cuma yang berani mati macam aku ajer kot yang sanggup datang ke Bangkok :-)

Nie - kawan aku yang sporting giler ...dia sanggup lakonkan babak "shop till she drop" khas utk aku buat posting ...thanks Moi! Pas tangkap gambar nie, we all sit down makan mangga (very cheap!!!), pamelo and fruits ...masa tu pun dah after midnight!

That's my first day in Bangkok ...the second day is more taxing ....akan menyusul sebentar lagi :-)
