Steamboat dinner @Tupai Tupai Restoren vs Seoul Garden Restoren

Dua saturday yang lepas, aku and my family had dinner kat Tupai Tupai Restaurant (dekat2 area MAA building in KL). Masa ke KL ari tu aku tanya Fend kat mana steamboat sedap, and he suggested this place.

The ambience is cozy...style ala-ala Melayu setting lah ...and the signature dish here is its coconut-juice based untuk sup steamboat. Kitrong decided to try it. It's great, i love it! ...Ala2 tomyam but it has a touch of sweetness in it that you boleh rasa ...banyak choices for the steamboat (according to several blog review on tupai2, pilihan samapi 70 jenis makanan) tapi mostly meatballs, prawn ball etc dalam pelbagai bentuk...masa aku pi tu ada le ambal (fendu kata org sana panggil pepahat), udang, ayam, sotong etc ...as well as pelbagai mee and sayur ....ketam takde, beef takde, mussels takde masa aku pi tu ....dari situ aku dah tolak point!

My verdict: This place is ok lah jugak ...but aku still prefer Seoul Garden Restaurant. Choices tak banyak but yang ada kat Seoul Garden masa aku pi tu sume barang2 yang mahal like scallop, ketam, salmon, mussels, lamb, beef ..aku kan taste mat salleh kah kah kah ....fishballs segala bagai nie aku kureng sket! Plus kat Seoul Garden tu ada steamboat and grill sekali ...more choices maaaa ....and the price is exactly the same RM 28 per person (kat Tupai Tupai, prices tu tak include air, and kat Seoul Garden dia include air sekali - choices air kureng leh...ada sirap and coffee je).

And kami ada gak tapau yang ala carte dishes from Tupai Tupai...sedap dia punya pineapple fried rice and sweet sour chicken!

And dari segi dessert plak ....Tupai Tupai cuma offer mini pau (lembut, inti red bean and sedap!), fruits and ice-cream. Kat Seoul Garden, pelbagai puddings, cakes, fruits and you can also make your own ice kacang! Also ada appetisers like salad jugak ....

Tapi dari segi setting and ambiance, Tupai Tupai is the best! Tupai Tupai ada ample parking for the customer tapi Seoul Garden takde private parking like this ....just basement parking and/or street parking.

I love both ...so tengok keadaan le, kalau aku nak dinner in style aku ke Tupai Tupai, but kalau nak melantak, aku akan ke Seoul Garden ...hehehehe ....
