Cameron Highlands - Part 1

We finally did it ...plan punya plan, akhirnya berjaya pi short break yang the whole family (6 adults and 2 infants) dapat pi sama ...walaupun sekejap tapi it was great. Banyak tempat2 kat Cameron Highland yang kami nak pi but since we have two infants in with us, we decided that we will not be doing the touristy thingy all out ...we took our time ...betul2 relax, and tak rushing sana sini. Bangun lambat, lepak2 before kuar apartment ...lagipun 8 org nak bersiap, obviously take a lot of time ler ... We stayed at a private apartment, located between Brinchang and Tanah Rata. Besar gilos apartment tu - three bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Spacious and conveniently located.

On the way up, we stopped at Bharat Tea Plantation - for tea and scones. Weather was awful - wet and miserable. So hajat my dad nak tengok teh secara dekat tak kesampaian sebab dia tak nak basah kuyup. We just enjoyed the view of the tea plantation aje.

The next day, we went to Cactus Point - located not far from Brinchang town - towards Kea Farm. My mum memang suka cactus - so she was in her element kat situ. Siap beli anak2 cactus - her intention is to "seludup" back home - despite protests from me and my dad. Tak tau le mcm mana, but she have from now till early may to think abput this. For now, cactus tu sume berada kat balkoni rumah adik aku kat Setapak. Back to Cactus Point, memang banyak cactus yang cantik2 kat situ - different varieties, shapes and sizes.

It also has other plants like hibiscus, daisies, marigolds, roses, orchids and what nots. Banyak - rambang mata beb!

We also visited the Multicrop Central Market (a.k.a farmers' arcade), not far from Cactus Point jugak. Ada strawberry corner - semua benda kat sini bertemakan strawberry ...teh strawberry, strawberry-flavoured coffee, strawberry jam, dried strawberry, strawberry shaped pillows dan macam2 lagi lah. But kat sebelah strawberry corner nie ada satu area yang jual plants, pots, etc yang very well landscaped. Suasana dia memang best. Biler penat jalan2 kat dalam tu ada cafe...and seatings yang banyak throughput the place. Permainan utk kanak2 juga disediakan ...and this is a good place to visit masa ujan sebab berbumbung! masa kami pi tu ari ujan, so we really took out time exploring this place.

Petang nya plak, after nap and a bit of r&r at the apartment, we went out. This time just driving up to Tringkap - then towards Tanah Rata - just to get the feel of the place. View best...suasana kabus, sejuk and quite a scenic pictures.
