Shanghai 2007

"Tuntutlah ilmu sehingga ke negeri China...in 2007 I got that opportunity to have my foot stepped in China mainland , to be specific in Shanghai for a train-a-trainer system training...as it was a business trip , there was no sightseeing but we managed to escape for few hours for a retail therapy after work and during the night. Shopping was good..they have all sort of so called grade one imitation - i am not able to distinguish...imitation is still imitation regardless of the grade, right? whatever grade it is , you wont get the feeling of wearing original..the feeling is one hell an important thing...ok whatever!!!!!!!

this is upon entering Shanghai...it has its own port and there were quite a number of constructions going onno doubt bicycles are still the main transporter...very environmental friendly huh! but they have that privilege for the kind of weather they have in Shanghai..kalau kat Msia berpeluh ketiak akak tak tanggung...
all my pictures in Shanghai are courtesy from a dear friend...and i am just putting this one favourite pic of hers,,she adores leaveless tree...from my fengshui point of view , this is not advisable, should opt for blossom trees...she will be mad at me if only she reads this..ok moving on...
i was told by a friend, that part of shanghai we went to is like a little Paris of Shanghai or China..I have no idea why (it is not like i've been to Paris, right) ...perhaps .. one, there are many mat salehs in the territory, secondly ..i came across many many round eyes slim chinese fashionista on the street or should i said the zhang-ziyi kind of ladies..unfortunately only ladies....men were hiding somewhere ....and thirdly maybe ...the kind of western exposure they have on the street like the shopping mall behind me......other than that...i dont know...no eiffel tower at sight!
For that 5 days we walked to office from the hotel and we passed a park, where every morning there were few groups of elderly working out tai-chi..interesting sight
streets/roads were congested with people not vehicles....emmm.....people rushed at all corners.
Language barriers was not so bad at this part of China, but food was the real challenge....luckily my aunt is a regular to China so she was like a tourist guide from far...thru phone....and we were lucky to found "Restoren Malaysia"..yes that is the name of the place but the food was a far cry from anything in our beloved Malaysia...my friend was a second away from vomitting on the table upon tasting satay...he..he..he...
Thinking of my own vision.......
